    · May 8th, 2025
Greetings. I am emailing to express my deep gratitude to Davor and David (last names unknown!) who served as our guides on a recent trip, “Dalmatia by Bike and Boat in Comfort,” June 3 to June 10, beginning and ending in Split. On the fifth day of this trip, I crashed my bike and sustained some painful but not life-threatening injuries: I had an x-ray soon after I returned to the US which showed that I had sustained 4 broken ribs! I want to thank Davor and David for their help at the time of the accident and in the days afterward. They were both remarkably kind and competent in dealing with a difficult situation, balancing my needs with their responsibility for the group as a whole. David saw the crash from the back of the group and was able to attend to me almost immediately. Once he checked me over, he efficiently made arrangements for me to be taken to the Emergency Room in the next town, for my bike to be returned to the boat, and for the other riders to safely complete the day's ride. Davor waited with me at the ER, making sure that I was comfortable and calm, and that I received all necessary medical care. Afterwards, in the remaining two days on the boat, they were solicitous about my injuries, as was the rest of the crew. During that time, I became concerned about some disturbances in the vision of my left eye and the possibility of a torn or detached retina after hitting my head in the crash, and David went far beyond the call of duty in arranging for me to be examined at an ophthalmological clinic in Split on the last afternoon of the trip. (My eye checked out fine, which was a relief.) I'm giving you all these details because I want to make it clear how well David and Davor handled this emergency and its aftermath. Even before my accident, my traveling companion Erika Milvy and I had found Davor and David to be excellent guides--knowledgeable, encouraging, and well organized--but this was something extra and I want you, and them, to know how much I appreciate their professionalism and exceptional care. All best wishes, Katherine Snyder

Thanks for your response, but that date doesn't work for me, do you have anything earlier in August?

    • Katarina LineOperatorWritten February 2025

Unfortunately no because we try to avoid big heat so we have bike departures only in pre and post season. Let us know if you are intrested ina cruise that is not a biking one.

    Asked on July 15th, 2023

I am hoping that someone can show me pictures of the boat that I will be staying in and what the upper cabin would look like IF I sign up for the biking tour. Are there different boat options? I will need to book flights and other accommodations. Also, I will need to rent a bike from you. My bike is a 21-speed men's hybrid bike - with a LARGE frame. While I am just 178 Centimeters - I like a frame between (53-57cm) do your bikes come in that size range? also what is the average age of your clients for this trip?
