Itinerary
- Day 1
Tbilisi to Kazbegi
You'll start at 09:00 and head out on the Georgian Military Road after breakfast, traveling through dramatic mountain terrain toward Kazbegi. The route takes you past Jinvali Dam where you can stop for panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Next comes the 17th-century Ananuri Fortress Complex, which sits on a hillside with interesting defensive architecture. Around midday you'll have traditional khinkali lunch in Pasanauri, then continue to Gudauri Ski Resort with its high-altitude viewpoints. The day ends at Gergeti Trinity Church (2170 meters/7120 feet), perched on a mountainside with views across the region. You'll return to Tbilisi for the night.

- Day 2
Tbilisi to Georgia-Armenia Border to Sevan Lake to Yerevan
After breakfast you'll drive toward the Georgia-Armenia border, which takes about an hour. Sevan Lake opens up before you at 1900 meters elevation, Armenia's largest body of water with mountains surrounding it. On the peninsula you can see the 9th-century Sevanavank Monastery with its views across the water. Lunch happens at a lakeside restaurant where they serve grilled Sevan trout and Armenian lavash bread. The eastern shore drive gives you options depending on the season: swimming, boat rides, or just relaxing along the water. Later you'll head to Yerevan for overnight, arriving as evening settles in.

- Day 3
Yerevan
You'll explore Yerevan after breakfast, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities with roots back to 782 BC. The route covers Republic Square at the city center, Abovyan Street which is the oldest street here, and Northern Avenue, the only street with historic walls on both sides. You'll see the Opera House, then head to the Cascade complex which houses the Gafeschyan art center and offers city views from its steps. The Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex comes next, built to remember the 1915 Genocide victims. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll have free time to walk around or head back to rest. The night stays in Yerevan.

Yerevan to Tbilisi
The drive back to Tbilisi takes 4 to 5 hours after breakfast, and you'll stop for lunch somewhere along the way before crossing the border from Armenia into Georgia. Once in Tbilisi, you'll explore the old district which spreads across both sides of the Kura River beneath Mount Mtatsminda. A cable car takes you up to Narikala Fortress where the city spreads out below you in all directions. The Mother of Georgia monument comes next, an iconic figure overlooking the old town. After lunch, you can stroll through Rike Park and cross the Peace Bridge, a modern steel structure spanning the Mtkvari River. An optional boat trip down the river is available if you want to add that (extra cost applies).
