Itinerary
- Day 1
Zurich
Your driver meets you at Zurich Airport and takes you on a private car tour through the old town. You'll see the Limmat River, Fraumünster Church, and Grossmünster while learning about the city. There's an option to add Augustinergasse to your route if you're interested, though entrance fees are separate. The whole orientation takes about 5 hours, and your driver returns you to the hotel afterward.

Zurich to Interlaken
Board a 1st class train from Zurich heading to Interlaken, a roughly 2-hour ride with views of Swiss landscapes rolling past. Once there, you can spend your afternoon doing something optional. You might take the funicular up to Harder Kulm (they call it the 'Top of Interlaken') at a 50% discount, or do a scenic boat cruise on Lake Thun from Interlaken West Boat Station and come back by train, which takes around 30 minutes each way.

Jungfraujoch
After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel and walk to Interlaken Ost train station. From there, it's about a 2-hour journey using train and cogwheel train to reach Jungfraujoch. At the summit, you'll explore the Ice Palace and check out Alpine Sensation to learn about how the Swiss Alps formed. The observation platforms at Sphinx Observatory and Glacier Plateau offer sightseeing opportunities, and then there's the Snow Fun Park where you can try skiing or sledding (those costs are separate). Your guide brings you back to the hotel after.

Grindelwald First Mountain
Meet your guide after breakfast, then catch a train from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald, which takes around 35 minutes. Head to Grindelwald Firstbahn station and ride the cable car up First Mountain for 25 minutes. The views of the Alps from up there are great, and you'll walk along the First Cliff Walk on the rock face to a viewing platform. Your mountain ticket covers two activities you choose from: First Flyer, First Glider, First Mountain Cart, or First Trottibike. Your guide gets you back to Interlaken after you're done.

Interlaken to Zurich Airport
Take a 1st class train from Interlaken to Zurich Airport based on your flight time. The journey's about 2.5 hours. You'll arrive at Zurich Hauptbahnhof, which is on the underground level of the airport, so it's just a short walk to the departure hall. If your flight timing works differently, your Swiss Travel Pass lets you head to Geneva or Basel airports instead.
