- Day 1
Arrival in Munich
You'll arrive at Munich Airport where a Uniworld representative meets you if you've arranged a group or private transfer. From there, they'll escort you to your ship and get you settled in.

Passau
Passau sits where three rivers come together, making it a cultural hub worth exploring. You can walk around town and see Europe's largest pipe organ, or if you're up for it, take a riverside hike along the Ilz River instead.

Salzburg or Linz

Melk and Dürnstein
Start by touring the 900-year-old Melk Abbey with its baroque library. Later, you'll get to Durnstein where the cobblestone lanes are perfect for wandering, and there's a ruined castle you can hike up to if interested. Wine tasting, saffron talks, or cycling through Wachau Valley are also on the table if you want them.

Budapest

Budapest to Vienna by Train
You'll disembark and board the Golden Eagle Danube Express for a scenic train journey back to Vienna. After settling into your cabin and having lunch on the route, you can explore Vienna by horse-drawn carriage, visit Schonbrunn Palace, or simply have free time. A private concert by the Vienna Supreme Orchestra rounds out the evening.

The train takes you on an incredibly scenic route across central Austria toward the Alps. You'll pass over the Semmering with its famous viaducts and tunnels, go through the skiing village of Kitzbuhel to Jenbach, then take a scenic drive to Lake Achen for a water cruise before reaching Innsbruck by bus.

Innsbruck to Zurich

Zurich to Lake Como
