- CSChandni· July 14th, 2023We are 2 people booked a 7 day shared tour with LimaTours. But the overall experience was very poor. The guides seemed every uninformative and looked like they have memorized the script for each location. The guides change everyday so it is hard to build a rapport with your guide and feel excited about visiting the next location with him. Maybe it was like that because of shared tour. I am guessing private tours are treated much better with single guide throughout the trip. The schedule made by LimaTours was extremely tight and at every location the guides were always in a hurry to finish the tour. You barely get time to take pictures. I remember, after the guides finish their informative session, they were literally like "We will stay here for another 10 mins for photos and leave". How is 10 mins enough to take memories of the place you visit. It felt it we couldn't peacefully see anything. because we kept rushing to catch up with their guides. Out of 7 different guides given to us for 7 days, the only time we enjoyed the most was at Rainbow mountain with a guide named 'Frank'. Seriously, Frank is an amazing person, a great tourist guide, humble, informative, most importantly helpful at every step because it was a hike at 17000 ft elevation. He offered to hold our stuff while we were taking breaks and pictures, took some great shots for us with great landscapes(they know better), it felt like a normal conversation with him when he was sharing information, rather than blurting out stuff from memory. I wish we had him all 7 days, our experience would have been 10 times better I can say. Another thing that bugged us was, except for mountain hiking, the everyday tour sessions were during the mornings and then you have the rest of the day to yourself. The fact that they only take you on a half day tour and then rush at every spot to finish before lunch was very annoying. I would rather do a whole day tour with a lunch break, at least that way all tourists can peacefully spend time at all locations the way they like. On our last day, our flight back to USA was delayed by almost 7 hours. So we called up LimaTours to ask if they can hold luggage for us for a couple hours. A representative lady came on the phone, I started explaining her our situation. It hadn't even been 2 minutes that I started talking on the phone, and this is what she tells me "You know you don't speak English very well I can't understand you" and hangs up the phone right away. Please bear in mind, my husband and I are from United States, a country with English as first language. Peru's majority visitors ARE FROM USA. The rudeness of their on call representative was the last straw for us after already having a bad experience with their guides. From overall experience, I did not find LimaTours good enough, not even 40% up to the expectations. I would recommend looking for other tours where you may be able to get better personal attention. If you do in fact go with LimaTours, I strongly suggest taking private tour(becomes more expensive) andShow moreLimaTours commented on this reviewDear Chandni, thank you for taking the time to bring your observations to our attention. - APEYSER ALCIATURI, ALEXIA· July 12th, 2023Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishThe excursions in the Sacred Valley were very nice and the hotel Posada del Inca in Yucay was beautiful. The concern of the different guides/accompaniers that we were comfortable was incredible. The Inca Trail that my husband did was magnificent. We greatly appreciate that the trek was done even though he was the only passenger. It was an extraordinary trip, thank you very much.Show moreTrip date: September 2022Review collected by LimaTours

- AAGARBADO MARIA BELEN· July 12th, 2023Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishI am very satisfied. Super detailed, the whole schedule was very well thought out. The hotels were very good, the location on the train, the excursion schedules, etc. They were always punctual and communicated every day to let me know what time they would pick me up. The only inconvenience I had was that in the end I did not go on the observatory train, but they made up for it with the visit to Maras and Moray, which I loved. Cusco far exceeded my expectations. I loved the landscapes, the people, the food, the security, everything. It was an unforgettable experience! All the tours were very good, as well as the company of the guides. The tour I liked the most was to the mountain of the 7 colors.Show moreTrip date: April 2023Review collected by LimaTours

Traveler•Written June 2023Is this tour private? If its a group tour what is the group size normally for the tour? And what are the transportation options? Is there an option to take private tour for 2 people? Can you also share available hotel options for all days?
- LimaToursOperator•Written June 2023
The Shades of Peru program is shared and the Humantay tour is also shared. If you want a private Humantay tour, the cost per person is 185.00. Groups usually range from 2 people to a maximum of 15, and vehicles will depend on the number of people. There is an option to take a private program only for two of you.
