Itinerary
- Day 1
London to Windsor to Bath to Bristol
Meet your group and board the coach from London early this morning. You'll head to Windsor first to see Windsor Castle, then have free time to wander around the town with its gardens and riverside views. After that, continue on to Bath where you can spend the afternoon exploring on your own, checking out the Royal Crescent, Roman Baths, Jane Austen Museum, or taking a canal cruise if that interests you. Later you'll arrive in Bristol, drop your bags at the hotel, and join the group for a welcome dinner before heading out to walk around the city's streets.

Bristol to Oxford to Stratford-upon-Avon to Birmingham
Start the day with breakfast at your hotel. There's an optional guided tour of Bristol's street art if you want to join, otherwise head straight to Oxford. You'll have time to explore Oxford's museums, libraries, churches, and university grounds at your own pace throughout the day. After that, there's a quick stop in Stratford-upon-Avon where Shakespeare was born, then you'll travel to Birmingham for the night. Drop your bags and grab dinner in town before settling in.

Birmingham to Liverpool to Manchester
Have breakfast before leaving Birmingham this morning. You'll travel to Liverpool for a guided tour that covers Beatles history and football culture with local perspective. From there, continue on to Manchester where you'll stay for the night. There's free time to explore this city known for its musical heritage and live music scene, so get out and soak in the rock and roll atmosphere before bed.

Manchester to York
Leave Manchester and head to York, a walled city that's been around for about 2,000 years. You'll have time to walk through the narrow lanes and see the Minster, the Shambles, and Clifford's Tower. If you're interested in the darker side of things, there's an optional ghost tour in the evening that takes you through haunted alleyways and covers York's spookier history and stories.

Later you'll head to Carlisle, which sits right on the England-Scotland border in the north, and spend the night in this charming town.

Carlisle to Hadrian's Wall to Edinburgh
Travel along the England-Scotland border taking in the scenery as you go. You'll stop at Hadrian's Wall, the old Roman frontier, and pass through English countryside on your way north. By evening you'll arrive in Edinburgh, a city with ancient history, festivals, creative energy, and good bars throughout. There's an optional whisky tasting experience if you want to end the day that way.

Today is yours to explore Edinburgh however you'd like. Edinburgh to Stirling to St. Andrews to Inverness
Head north from Edinburgh toward Inverness this morning. Stop in Stirling to see the castle on the hill and hear about William Wallace's history and resistance to the English. From there, you'll visit St. Andrews, the birthplace of golf and home to Scotland's oldest university. Continue through rugged mountain scenery before arriving in Inverness, where the Highlands and their stories await you.

Search for Loch Ness, the UK's largest lake by volume, and keep your camera ready in case you spot Nessie. You'll also visit Glenfinnan Viaduct, then head to Aviemore in the Cairngorms where you can see lochs, mountain trails, and wide views. Spend the night surrounded by Highland scenery with lots to explore in the area.

Aviemore to Scottish Highlands to Glasgow
Travel to Glasgow, Scotland's largest city. Visit a rewilding centre on a hillside to learn how native species like red squirrels, lynx, and beavers are being brought back to the wild, plus see efforts to regrow Caledonian pine forests. There's optional archery and axe throwing if you want to try something different. Later, explore Glasgow's character with live music venues, a gothic cathedral, and quirky neighborhoods. You can optionally have dinner with live traditional Scottish music for an authentic local experience.
