Explaining in full detail of all the countries histories, making us all fully aware of how each country came to be making it not only fun but educational. He made me feel comfortable in each country, helping me with anything I needed. Went above and beyond in his job role as tour leader. He made or experience more realistic, taking us to small local restaurants making sure we were helping the local communities out. Since your partner will be 36 at the start of the trip, we can accept the booking under our exception policy. The group will mostly consist of 18–35-year-olds and the trip may include hostel stays and a youthful vibe — but if you're both comfortable with that, we'd love to have you on board!

Asked on November 14th, 2024I would like to do the Central America tour and see all of Costa Rica as a guided tour. I'm willing to fly to Guatemala from San Jose. What do you suggest? Can you give me the list of hotels for the attached tour. I'm a solo traveller. What are my options? I don't want to share the room with more than one person and mostly want to have private bathroom for the room. If private bathroom is not possible for a couple of nights, it can be OK. I would like to have the price for a non-shared room too.

This trip is an 18 - 29's itinerary and the accommodations will be a mix of hotels, camping, and multi share hostels. A single supplement is available if you'd prefer not to share a room on this trip. The single supplement excludes Days 10 & 11 Hostel in San Juan del Sur (Multishare with shared facilties) where you will be in shared accommodation and is subject to availability. Trip cost at the moment is $1,900 CAD - Twin share. If you wanted to add on a single supplement the cost would be $1,035 CAD.

Here's a breakdown of the approximate travel times between destinations on the Real Guatemala to Costa Rica tour: Antigua to Rio Dulce: Approximately 8–9 hours by private vehicle. Rio Dulce to Flores: Around 5–6 hours by private vehicle. Flores to San Ignacio: About 3–4 hours by private vehicle (includes a border crossing). San Ignacio to Tikal and back: A day trip, roughly 2–3 hours each way. San Ignacio to Bacalar: Approximately 8–9 hours by private vehicle (includes a border crossing). Bacalar to Tulum: Around 3 hours by private vehicle. Tulum to Playa del Carmen: About 1–1.5 hours by private vehicle. These travel times are approximate and might vary depending on road conditions, traffic, and any stops we make along the way for breaks or sightseeing.
