Alice Springs
You'll arrive at your hotel in Alice Springs and get settled in. Your tour guide and the rest of the group will meet you around 6 pm, so you can say hello to everyone and prepare for the days ahead. This first night is pretty relaxed since you're just getting your bearings.

- Day 2
West MacDonnell Ranges - Kings Canyon
This morning starts with a guided hike through Simpsons Gap in West MacDonnell Ranges National Park where a First Nations guide shares stories about the Tjunba totem and local wildlife. From there you'll head to Watarrka National Park for a walk along Kings Creek with the canyon coming into view. By evening you'll have dinner and check out the Canyon Light Towers before wrapping up.

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park - Uluru
You're tackling a 3-hour hike through Kings Canyon that shows off the sandstone domes and the Garden of Eden oasis below. After that, you'll drive to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to see the rock formations of Kata Tjuta. Later in the afternoon, you'll position yourself to catch the sunset over Uluru, watching the monolith change colors as the sun drops.

Alice Springs
Start early to see the sunrise over Uluru with an Anangu guide leading you on a hike through the rust-colored landscape to a nearby waterhole. You'll hear about First Nations history and cultural background during the walk. Then it's off to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Center to learn more about the local culture, and after that you'll return to Alice Springs where your tour ends.
