I believe this was the first Baltic route so there were some learning lessons for all but overall I really enjoyed the trip. The tour guide Alex a Rumanian was very arrogant , No consideration for guests. Not at all familiar with the tour destinations. He doesn’t like people asking questions . In short a total misfit. - AGAshok· October 16th, 2025I would have preferred to be picked up from our hotel ant the beginning of the tour instead of from the street. Our hotel was less than a kilometer from the pickup spot. I got the tour Voucher 10 days before the start of the trip. I had already left home for another tour by that time. That is too short notice. When I asked our tour guide Alex, he said that is their standard practice. I had requested many times for the tour voucher earlier. Also in another Tourradar trip, I had received the voucher well in advance. The tour guide Alex was not good. When I ask a question his response was "Did you read the material we sent you". Other occasions he would say 'Do you want me to repeat it again?" Alex requires some training in his customer interaction. Other members of the tour group were hesitant to ask questions because of his negative attitude. This tour spent too little time in places like Belgrade and disproportionate time in Romania. Romania is a good country to visit; but I would have liked to spend some more time in the Balkans instead of Romania. The tour company apparently did many tours in Romania. I am not sure whether they have done many tours outside Romania. One positive thing is that we had a very good driver. Another good thing is that the hotels we stayed were in good locations and also were good hotels.Show moreTrip date: September 2025

Right from when we booked, we were kept informed by George of anything that arose. Liviu is an awesome tour leader/guide/driver. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the history of all the countries/cities/towns/fortresses that we visited on our tour. The people that we met throughout the tour were all so friendly and welcoming, the weather was unseasonably perfect [went in October/Autumn], the accommodations were all of a good quality standard. Our small group of just 6 was perfect for speedy entry into everywhere and everything, including border crossings. And then it was just 2 of us left [my mother and I] for the tour of Romania - which was absolutely gorgeous with all the autumn colours, mountains, beautiful Monasteries and Churches etc. So, go ahead push that book Now button, and have an awesome unforgettable holiday!!! In any case it is indicated the distance in miles and not in hours. The walking tours of the cities are taking usually around 2-2.5 hours with stops and covers around 2.5-3.5 km. This is the average walking for every city visited.
