Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi to Jaipur
You'll start early and make the drive from Delhi to Jaipur, which takes about 4 to 5 hours by private car. Once you arrive, your guide meets you and takes you through the main attractions. Amber Fort comes first with its pink and yellow sandstone walls rising up dramatically. After that, you'll head down to Panna Meena Stepwell, then catch an outside view of Jal Mahal sitting in the water. The City Palace Museum is next on the route, followed by the Hawa Mahal with all 593 of its latticed windows. Later in the day, you can walk through Jantar Mantar observatory and then take a tuk-tuk around local markets for some browsing. Before heading back to Delhi, you'll stop for lassi at Lassiwala and get a quick lesson in Jaipur Hand Block Printing techniques.
