Itinerary
- Day 1
Kigali to Musanze
Your driver guide meets you at the airport or hotel and gives you a quick overview of what's ahead. From there, you'll spend time at the Genocide Memorial Centre to understand Rwanda's history. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, then it's a scenic drive out to Volcanoes National Park. You'll arrive in Musanze in the late afternoon, check into your lodge, and have dinner to settle in for the night.

- Day 2
Musanze
After breakfast, you'll head out at 8:00 am for gorilla trekking with a briefing from Rwanda park officials. The trek itself takes between 2 to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are that day, and your guides lead you through the jungle to find them. Back at the lodge for lunch after that, then in the afternoon you visit Iby'Iwacu cultural center where locals teach you about traditional kingship, marriage, beer making, and medicinal herbs.

- Day 3
Musanze to Kigali
Start with a relaxed breakfast, then head to the Office of Tourism for a briefing on how to observe golden monkeys safely. Your day is spent watching and photographing golden monkeys in their natural habitat. You'll return to the lodge for lunch, then transfer back toward Kigali. If there's time, you can stop at the Genocide Memorial Centre again before heading to the airport for your evening departure.
