Jakarta
Spend the day checking out Jakarta's main sights. You'll see Southeast Asia's largest mosque and a Gothic cathedral, then wander through the historic old town where colonial buildings and the traditional harbor give you a real sense of the city's past. Later, head to Sabang Street for dinner at a local warung.

Jakarta to Bandung
Head southeast to Bandung and explore this West Java city. Grab a traditional family-style Sundanese lunch, then visit the Geological Museum and stop at Gedung Sate to snap photos. After that, walk through the busy Jalan Asia Afrika street with its shops and local energy.

Bandung to Semarang
