  1. Day 1

    Lima

    You'll arrive in Lima and meet your CEO and travel group. If you're coming early, there's time to walk around the city and get oriented. Those who've signed up for the optional cooking class will be picked up from your hotel around 10:00 to visit a market and learn traditional Peruvian cooking, finishing by 13:00.

    Lima to Puno

    After flying to Juliaca, you'll take a short bus ride to Puno, which sits right on Lake Titicaca's shores. This afternoon is more relaxed as you check out local markets and wander through the city while your body adjusts to the high altitude.

  3. Day 3

    Lake Titicaca

    A guided boat takes you across Lake Titicaca to the Taquile Islands community. You can grab lunch at a local restaurant with views out over the lake, then cruise to another village for an overnight homestay. There you'll share meals with the family, pick up some Quechua and Spanish, wear traditional clothing, and help with regular daily tasks.

    Cusco

    After breakfast at your hotel, you'll walk to Cusco Cathedral where your guide meets the group for a walking tour focusing on colonial and Inca architecture. You'll see the Sapantiana staircase waterfall aqueduct, grab lunch near the main plaza, then head back to your hotel with the evening free.

    Sacred Valley

    This full-day Sacred Valley tour starts at a G Adventures-supported women's weaving co-op where you'll learn traditional techniques, then moves to a pottery-making community. Lunch happens at the Parwa Community Restaurant in Huchuy Qosco, where your money supports local families. After, you can hike to the Ollantaytambo storehouses for ruins views or explore the town's cobblestone streets.

A scenic drive passes through small villages with Andean countryside all around, then you'll visit the Chincheros ruins. You'll return to Ollantaytambo by evening.

    Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

    You'll start with breakfast before heading up 200 stone steps to explore the Ollantaytambo ruins. The climb takes you through this historic site, and then you'll catch a scenic train ride down to Aguas Calientes. Once there, take an orientation walk through town to get your bearings. The afternoon is flexible, so you can relax at your hotel or choose from optional activities like the Machu Picchu Museum, Mandor Waterfalls, a butterfly garden, or the thermal baths if you're interested in something more active.

    Machu Picchu and return to Cusco

    You'll wake early to catch the first bus up to Machu Picchu with your guide for a guided tour of the ruins. After returning by bus to Aguas Calientes to meet the group, you'll take the scenic train back to Ollantaytambo and drive by van back to Cusco for the evening.

  11. Day 11

    Cusco

    This day is free for you to explore Cusco on your own terms or just take it easy. If you want to do something organized, you can pre-book optional activities like the Rainbow Mountain hike, a cooking class, or mountain biking. There's also the Cusco Culinary Bundle if you're interested, which picks you up from your hotel around 12:30 PM. You'll visit a local market, prepare and eat a traditional Peruvian meal, and get dropped back around 4:00 PM.

After a quick stop in town to store large luggage, you'll drive to the pier and travel by covered motorized boat to the G Lodge Amazon. Along the way you'll start spotting bird species, and the Tambopata Rainforest area is known for world-record bird sightings. That evening includes a night walk to search for nocturnal animals.

    Amazon Jungle

    My tour with GAdventures was great!!! The tour guides ( CEO). were excellent and knowledgeable!Especially Daniel who guided us for the MachuPichu by train ! He’s the best and I felt very safe and comfortable around him ! The other guides were also very good with Jaime at the Amazon Jungle tour at Tambopata Eco Lodge! I Learned a lot and had the best time ! Met some amazing people and keeping in touch with them ! I will do another trip with GAdventures in the near future for sure !🥰
