Cairo
You'll be picked up at Cairo International Airport and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is open for you to walk around the city on your own. This evening you'll meet the group for a welcome dinner at Naguib Mahfouz restaurant.

Giza
Begin at the Egyptian Museum to see the extensive collection of ancient artifacts. From there, head to Giza to see the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx with an Egyptologist guide who explains their construction and historical importance. After lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon is free for relaxing or further exploration.

Old Cairo
Following breakfast, you get exclusive access to see the restoration lab at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization before checking out the main collection. Next stop is the Citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque. Lunch happens at Zeyara restaurant featuring local dishes. Later in the evening, you'll walk through Khan El Khalili Bazaar where alleys are filled with spices, silver, textiles, and various goods.

Cairo to Alexandria
You transfer from Cairo to Alexandria with a stop at Wadi El Natron, a site connected to Coptic history where early Christians took refuge during the 4th century. There you'll see ancient monastic remains and learn about how natron salt lakes played a role in mummification. A packed lunch travels with you during the journey.

Alexandria
After breakfast, visit Kom el Shoqafa, the burial sites of early Christians, and Pompey's Pillar, a 28-meter red granite column. Then check out the Jewellery Museum to see some of Egypt's finest pieces, followed by the famous Alexandria Library. Lunch comes at a local restaurant, and you have the afternoon free.

Alexandria - Cairo - Luxor
Head to Cairo airport for a late flight heading to Luxor. On the way, you'll stop at the El Alamein War Cemetery to pay your respects at this solemn World War II memorial site. Once you arrive in Luxor, settle into your accommodation and spend the evening relaxing however you'd like.

This day is yours to explore Luxor at your own pace. Wander around the historic city, take your time, and soak in the atmosphere of this ancient place.

Luxor to Cruise - East Bank
You transfer from your Luxor hotel to board the Merit Dahabeya for your Nile cruise. After lunch, head to the East Bank to see Karnak Temple with its massive hypostyle hall, then walk through Luxor Temple with its tall obelisks and statues. Dinner is served on board.

Cruise - West Bank - Esna
Breakfast happens on board before heading to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. You'll see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the architectural creation dedicated to Egypt's only female pharaoh. Return to the cruise for lunch while sailing toward Esna. Tea occurs at sunset and dinner while sailing, with an overnight stay beside an island.

Landmarks Edfu Temple - Day 11
Cruise - Aswan
Early morning visit to Gebel El Silsila, a unique temple set within mountains accessible only to Dahabeyas. After breakfast, sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods. Lunch is served while crossing Shekh Fadl Island, then you can swim in the Nile's cleanest waters at Hor Diab Island. Dinner happens on board while sailing to Aswan.

Aswan to Abu Simbel to Esna
Start with breakfast on board, then transfer to Aswan airport for your flight to Abu Simbel. You'll have a private tour of Abu Simbel Temple, two rock-cut temples from King Ramses II's time. These temples faced damage from rising water when the High Dam was built but were saved by UNESCO efforts. After touring, return to Aswan and transfer back to the Dahabeya for dinner while sailing to Esna under the stars.
