Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
Your hotel picks you up in District 1 this morning, then you'll head to the War Remnants Museum to see the city's historical exhibits. From there, you walk through Reunification Palace and check out Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office, each offering different perspectives on Ho Chi Minh City's past. After grabbing lunch, the afternoon takes you to the Cu Chi Tunnels where you'll actually crawl through sections of the 250km underground network that's still there from the war. You'll see command centers and trapdoors while learning how locals built and used this system. Before heading back to your hotel, you get tea and cassava as a snack, which gives you a real sense of what people ate during that time.
