Geneva
You'll be transferred to your hotel in Geneva or the surrounding area. Once you check in, stop by the front desk to pick up information about your tour and what's coming up over the next few days.

- Day 2
Lausanne - Gruyères - Fribourg
After breakfast, take a panoramic tour of Geneva that includes the Palace of Nations, the English Garden with its flower clock, and the Jet d'Eau fountain. You'll have time for lunch on your own, then head through vineyards and mountain scenery toward Lausanne to see the Olympic Park. Later you'll reach Gruyères for a chocolate factory visit and tasting at Cailler, ending the day in Fribourg's old town.

Interlaken - Aare Gorge - Susten Pass - Lugano - Chiasso
Travel through Bern canton with a photo stop at either Schwarzenburg Castle or a lake overlook. You'll arrive in Interlaken between two lakes, then explore the Aare Gorge with included tickets. After lunch, head toward the Susten Pass where you'll see eternal snow and glaciers. You'll pass through the Gotthard Tunnel and stop in Gandria village before taking a boat across Lake Lugano to Chiasso, arriving in late afternoon.

Gotthard Pass - Altdorf - Lucerne
Start the day in Bellinzona to see its three UNESCO medieval castles and walk through the city center. Then cross into the German-speaking part of Switzerland over the Gotthard Pass with a photo stop. Visit Altdorf, the birthplace of William Tell, and have free time for lunch. Finish in Lucerne where you can see the Kapellbrücke, Lion Monument, cathedral, Jesuit Church, and explore the old town on your own.

Basel - Cruise Embarkation
Depart Zurich for Basel, a vibrant city on the Rhine where Germany and France meet. Explore the old town and see the cathedral overlooking the Rhine. Head to the port to board MS Crucevita, with check-in starting at 4:00 p.m. (though you can leave luggage earlier). Enjoy a welcome reception and dinner, then settle in for your first night on the ship.
