Arrival in Beijing
You'll get settled at your hotel after arriving in Beijing. Later in the evening, head over to Wangfujing Street, which is packed with shops and restaurants perfect for getting to know the city. Dinner's included, so you can grab a meal before heading back to rest up.

- Day 2
Beijing
This is a full day exploring Beijing's major sites. Start with the Forbidden City, the massive imperial palace where 24 emperors held court. From there, head to Jingshan Park and climb Coal Hill for views looking back at the Forbidden City (if weather cooperates). Walk through Tiananmen Square and check out the Great National Theater. After lunch, you'll go to the Summer Palace, which was the imperial retreat during the Qing Dynasty. The day wraps up with a tricycle ride through Hutong neighborhoods, wandering through traditional shops and stopping at a Siheyuan courtyard house.

Beijing to Xi'an
You're heading to Mutianyu, a section of the Great Wall that spans over 2,000 years of history. Use cable cars to get up and down so you can really take it in. A traditional lunch is included. Later, around 3:45 p.m., you'll board a high-speed train that travels at 300 km/h, covering nearly 1,100 kilometers in just over five hours. You'll arrive in Xi'an in the late afternoon and transfer to your hotel.

- Day 4
Xi'an
Xi'an is where the ancient Silk Road began, and you'll spend the morning at the Terracotta Army, an incredible archaeological site with thousands of life-sized clay soldiers guarding the tomb of China's first emperor. Back in the city, visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist structure that's been standing for over a thousand years. Wander through the historic walled center and the Muslim Quarter, stopping at the Great Mosque. You'll also tour the Drum Tower and catch a short performance of traditional Chinese music on ancient instruments. After that, you'll have free time to explore on your own.

Xi'an to Zhangjiajie
You're leaving Xi'an and flying to Zhangjiajie. Once you arrive, a transfer takes you to your hotel in Wulingyuan. Spend the rest of the day exploring the area at your own pace before settling in for the night.

- Day 6
Zhangjiajie
Start with Baofeng Lake, known as the Paradise of Water, surrounded by green peaks and clear water. You'll take a scenic boat ride across it. Then head to the northern part of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and ride the famous Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie, the spot that inspired the floating mountains in Avatar. From there, take a tourist bus to Tianzi Mountain for impressive peak views rising one after another. The summit gives you panoramic views of the whole scenic area and its four natural wonders: the Sea of Clouds, the Moonlight Glow, Rays of Sunshine, and Winter Snow. Head back to the hotel for the night.

- Day 7
Zhangjiajie
You're visiting Tianmen Mountain, known for its unique geological formations and natural beauty. Take the longest cable car in Asia, which stretches over 7,200 meters. At the summit, walk along cliffside paths and experience the Glass Sky Walk. There's also a natural karst cave running through the mountain to explore. After lunch, transfer to Furong, a Tujia ethnic village built around a waterfall. Spend time wandering around this picturesque spot, then head back to Zhangjiajie for the night.

Zhangjiajie to Guilin
After breakfast, head to the station to catch the high-speed train to Guilin at 7:15 a.m., arriving at 2:07 p.m. A transfer takes you to your hotel, and you'll have free time to explore or relax for the rest of the day.

Guilin
You'll spend the day in Guilin, one of China's most popular cities with a pleasant setting on its lake and next to the Li River. Check out the Reed Flute Cave, which has spectacular stalactites and stalagmites lit up in beautiful colors creating an underground world. The afternoon is yours to spend as you like, and it's worth visiting Jingjiang Palace if you get the chance, sometimes called the miniature Forbidden City.

Li River Cruise to Guangzhou
Take a boat cruise on the Li River, known for green mountains, village-lined banks, interesting rock formations, and uniquely shaped peaks. Lunch is served during the cruise. You'll arrive in Yangshuo, a lively tourist city, where you can walk around. From there, continue through central China to Huangyao, an ancient city that's beautifully preserved with small streets, old buildings, and temples. Explore and experience the activity of the local inhabitants. Then you'll head to Guangzhou, arriving at the end of the day.

- Day 11
Guangzhou to Macau
In Guangzhou, you'll take a two-hour walking tour along Shangxiajiu Street with its traditional market, see the 19th century House of the Chen Clan, and check out the riverside area. Lunch is included with free time after. In the afternoon, travel to Zhuhai on the China Sea, stopping to see the Opera House built on reclaimed land and opened in 2016. Its shape symbolizes the sun and moon. Then you'll cross the border into Macau, where you'll see casino areas styled like Las Vegas with impressive activity.

- Day 12
Macau to Hong Kong
Tour Macau's historic center, which is a World Heritage Site. You'll see ancient churches, decorative tiles on civil buildings, a fortress, and China's oldest lighthouse, all legacies of Portuguese rule from the 16th century until 1999. After lunch and free time, you'll take the impressive bridge connecting Hong Kong and Macau, opened in late 2018. It's an engineering feat with over 30 kilometers of bridges over the China Sea, 6 kilometers of tunnel beneath it, and artificial islands. Stop at the tourist platform to see this work. Once in Hong Kong, check in, then take the Star Ferry across Hong Kong Bay and walk to see illuminated buildings before returning to your hotel.

Hong Kong
After breakfast, visit Hong Kong's financial center with its tall skyscrapers and the History Museum to learn about the city from the colonial period through World War times. Check out the Avenue of the Stars by the dock, showcasing cinema celebrities. Take the Star Ferry across the bay, then ride the bus up to Victoria Peak at 552 meters for views of the whole city. Return by Peak Tram. The afternoon is yours to spend freely.
