Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Tashkent

    You'll arrive in Tashkent and your driver will meet you at the airport for the transfer to your hotel. From there, start exploring the Old City by checking out the Khast Imam Complex, which has several madrasahs and houses the famous Uthman Quran. You'll walk through Chorsu Bazaar with its busy stalls and shops, then take the metro over to Independence Square and Amir Temur Square. After that, the evening is yours to rest or wander around on your own.

  2. Day 2

    Tashkent to Samarkand

    Grab breakfast at your hotel, then head to Tashkent Train Station to board the high-speed Afrosiyob train heading to Samarkand. Once you arrive, you'll see the Gur-Emir Mausoleum with its blue dome, followed by Registan Square where three grand madrasahs stand. Later you'll check out the Bibi-Khanum Mosque and Siab Bazaar. In the afternoon, you'll visit Khazrat Khizr Mosque, the Mausoleum of Islam Karimov, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, and the Ulughbek Observatory. You'll settle into your hotel by evening.

    Samarkand to Bukhara

    After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Samarkand Train Station to catch the high-speed Afrosiyob train to Bukhara, which sits along the ancient Silk Road. You'll drop your luggage at the hotel, then meet your guide for a walking tour through the city. During the afternoon and evening, you'll see the Lyabi-Khauz Ensemble with its quiet pool, the Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, Trade Domes, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, the Kalyan Minaret and Mosque, Ark Fortress, and Bolo-Khauz Mosque. The rest of your evening is free.

    Bukhara

    Start with a relaxed breakfast at your hotel. The morning is yours to explore Bukhara at your own pace, revisiting spots you loved or finding quiet corners and local cafes. You'll check out at noon with a couple more hours to look around before heading to the station. Around 14:20, transfer to Bukhara Train Station and board the high-speed Afrosiyob train back to Tashkent, arriving around 19:53. Your driver will take you to the hotel, and you'll have the evening free.

  5. Day 5

    Chimgan Mountains

    Have breakfast at your hotel, then drive about 92 km to the Chimgan Mountains for a day trip. You'll travel through nice landscapes toward the Western Tien-Shan Mountains and take a scenic chairlift ride for views of the mountains and valley. Stop at Charvak Reservoir set in the mountain area, and you'll see ancient petroglyphs and rock carvings. Along the way, you'll make several photo stops to capture the mountain, lake, and landscape views. You'll return to Tashkent in the late afternoon with time to yourself.
