Itinerary
- Day 1
Cologne
You'll arrive in Cologne and have time to walk around the city before boarding your river cruise ship at 16:00. The Cologne Cathedral is right there to see, and it's definitely worth checking out while you're waiting. Once you get on board, there's a welcome cocktail to settle in with, and then you'll have your first dinner as the ship gets ready to leave.

- Day 2
Cologne to Rüdesheim
Start the morning watching the sun come up as you cruise through the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. You'll pass the Loreley Rock and see around 40 castles and fortresses scattered through vineyards and villages. In Rüdesheim, you can choose what to do - there's the Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet museum, a vineyard tour on the Winzerexpress that includes a local winery, or you can walk through Drosselgasse with its half-timbered houses and try coffee and Asbach Uralt. Later the ship heads to Miltenberg.

Wertheim
This day focuses on two Main River towns with their medieval character. You'll tour Miltenberg's old town to see the town hall and Mildenburg fortress sitting above it. After that, a coach takes you to Wertheim where you can wander through medieval streets lined with half-timbered houses, see the Angel Fountain and St. Kilian's Chapel, and visit the glass museum to watch artisans working. The ship continues upstream along the Main.

- Day 4
Rothenburg ob der Tauber
Start your morning in Würzburg touring the Baroque Residence, then you'll taste Franconian wines to get a sense of the local production. In the afternoon, head to Rothenburg ob der Tauber to see St. Jacob's Church and the Holy Blood Altar, walk around the winding streets for souvenirs, and check out the Käthe Wohlfahrt Museum if you want that Christmas experience year-round.

- Day 5
Bamberg
You'll spend your morning on the sun terrace watching the countryside roll by as the ship cruises through the scenic Main Valley. Around lunchtime you reach Bamberg, a 1,000-year-old city where you can either do a walking tour hitting the Brückenrathaus and the four-towered cathedral and Neue Residenz, or take a bike tour through the alleyways if that sounds better. By evening you'll cruise through the Main-Danube Canal and hear about why it's considered such an engineering accomplishment.

Nuremberg
The ship arrives in Nuremberg at 05:00 and you'll go on a guided tour through Bavaria's second largest city, walking past medieval sites and learning about different time periods. You'll depart at midday as the ship heads up to the crest of the Main-Danube Canal crossing the Franconian Alb. Back on the ship that evening, there's a Captain's Gala Dinner to celebrate.

- Day 7
Regensburg
You cruise down the Danube to Regensburg, which was a major medieval power center. A guided tour takes you through the UNESCO-protected old town where you'll cross one of Europe's oldest bridges and see St. Peter's Cathedral plus various churches and monasteries from different eras. Afternoon options include Thurn und Taxis Castle with a brewery and beer tasting, or Weltenburg Abbey in the gorge to try beer from one of the world's oldest monastery breweries. Back on ship you'll have a Bavarian evening with live music and regional food.
