Madrid
After arriving in Madrid, you'll head to your hotel and get settled. The rest of the day is yours to wander around the city at your own pace. It's a good time to grab dinner somewhere local and get a feel for the neighborhoods near where you're staying.

- Day 2
Madrid
You'll start with breakfast before joining a panoramic city tour that takes you through Madrid's medieval origins and Habsburg district. The route covers Barrio de la Morería, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, Cibeles Fountain, Prado Museum, Gran Vía, and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. After the tour wraps up, the afternoon is free for you to explore Madrid on your own and see whatever catches your interest.

Madrid to Seville
You'll travel through La Mancha, passing through Puerto Lápice and heading into the dramatic Despeñaperos pass as you enter Andalusia. In Córdoba, you'll stop to see the Mosque and walk through the Jewish Quarter with its narrow, winding streets. From there, you'll continue toward Seville with a scenic drive through the countryside.

- Day 4
Seville
The morning starts with a panoramic city tour of Seville that begins at the Cathedral, one of the largest in the Catholic world. You'll head through the charming Santa Cruz quarter and then to María Luisa Park where you can see the beautiful Plaza de España. This afternoon you'll have free time to explore more of Seville at your own pace.

Seville to Granada
You'll travel east through the Caliphate Road, passing olive groves as you make your way to Granada. Once there, you can explore the Alhambra complex and the Generalife Gardens, historic sites that inspired Washington Irving's Tales of the Alhambra. Later in the evening, there's an optional Flamenco Zambra show if you want to catch some traditional performance.

- Day 6
Granada to Valencia
After breakfast, you'll head eastward to Valencia, a major Mediterranean city. You can check out the modern City of Arts and Sciences complex with its six remarkable buildings. This is also where you'll learn about Valencia's history as the birthplace of paella, so trying some authentic paella here is pretty much a must-do.

Valencia to Barcelona
The morning includes a city tour of Valencia's old town, and you'll pass through the Turia riverbed to see the City of Arts and Sciences. Then you'll travel north along the Mediterranean coast via Tarragona and eventually reach Barcelona. The city is known for Gaudí's modernist architecture, so you'll get to see some of that as you arrive.

- Day 8
Barcelona
You'll join a city tour that focuses on Gaudí's modernist buildings, including La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. After that, you'll head to Montjuïc Park for great city views and to see the Olympic Ring and Columbus Monument. The afternoon gives you time to wander around Barcelona and try different restaurants to experience the local food scene.

Barcelona to Madrid
You'll head southwest through a region with significant industrial and agricultural heritage. In Zaragoza, the capital of Aragón, you'll get time to explore the Baroque architecture and visit the majestic Basilica-Temple of Our Lady Pilar, which sits on the banks of the Ebro River. After some free time there, you'll continue back toward Madrid.
