Arrival in Nairobi
You'll touch down at Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi where someone from the hotel meets you and takes you to your accommodation. Settle in and get some rest before the safari kicks off tomorrow.

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast in Nairobi, you're driven to Amboseli National Park with your guide. Once you check in at the lodge and grab lunch, you head out that same afternoon for your first game drive where you can spot wildlife with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.

Amboseli National Park
You'll spend the full day doing multiple game drives around Amboseli National Park. With extended time out on the plains, you'll have good chances to see elephants, lions, zebras, and the variety of animals that make this park a classic Kenyan safari location.

Amboseli to Tarangire National Park
Heading south after breakfast, you cross the Kenya-Tanzania border at Namanga with lunch packed. Later in the afternoon at Tarangire National Park, you get out for game viewing where you'll likely spot the large elephant herds the park is known for along with other wildlife.

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the morning and check in for lunch. In the afternoon, you head down onto the crater floor for game viewing. This location offers some of Africa's best wildlife viewing because the crater walls contain so many animals in one area.

The drive takes you to Serengeti National Park where you check in at camp and have lunch. Then you're out for an afternoon game drive. The wide open plains here hold millions of animals and this park ranks as one of the world's top safari destinations.

Serengeti to Masai Mara Game Reserve
You drive north back into Kenya heading for the Masai Mara Game Reserve with packed lunches for the journey. After you arrive, there's an afternoon game drive. This reserve has an incredibly high concentration of wildlife, especially during the seasonal migration.

Masai Mara to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast, you fly from Masai Mara to Uganda via Entebbe Airport with packed lunches during travel. You land at Kihihi Airstrip and get transferred to your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which is where the world's mountain gorillas live.

Gorilla Tracking at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today you trek through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to track down mountain gorillas and spend time watching them in their natural environment. This is the main event of the trip. After you finish trekking, you have the rest of the day free to relax at the lodge.
