Itinerary
- Day 1HobartYou'll arrive in Hobart by 3 pm and head straight to your accommodation in the city center to freshen up. At 4:30 pm, you're heading to Bonorong Animal Sanctuary for a 2.5-hour behind-the-scenes night tour where you'll get up close with Tasmania's unique wildlife in their natural habitat. - Day 2Maria Island - BichenoThe day starts with a drive to the coastal village of Triabunna, then you'll take the ferry out to Maria Island, a national park sitting off Tasmania's east coast. You'll spend the day walking through historic ruins, sweeping bays, rugged fossil cliffs, and mountains while keeping an eye out for wombats, kangaroos, and possibly Tasmanian devils. By afternoon, you're heading along the scenic east coast toward Bicheno in the Freycinet region. - Meals

- Day 3Freycinet National Park - BichenoAfter breakfast, you'll drive to Coles Bay for a 4-hour cruise along the Freycinet coastline. This trip takes you past the dramatic pink granite peaks of the Hazards Range, pristine white sand beaches, hidden sea caves, and waterfalls. You'll watch for little penguins and seabirds around remote Schouten Island. Back early afternoon, you'll check out Friendly Beaches, and then at dusk you're joining a tour at a private property to see the local blue penguin colony. - Meals

- Day 4Bay of Fires - St. Columba Falls - LauncestonContinuing along the scenic east coast, you'll visit the Bay of Fires with its distinctive orange granite cliffs. A short hike lets you explore the white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Then you're stopping at St. Columba Falls, Tasmania's highest waterfall, before driving through lush green valleys on your way to Launceston, Tasmania's second-largest city. - Meals
