- Day 1
Marrakech to Boumalne du Dades
Your journey starts with a scenic drive over the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tichka Pass before stopping at a women's Argan Oil Co-operative where you'll see how the oil gets made. From there, head to Kasbah Telouet to explore its historical significance. After lunch, a private guide takes you through the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, then you continue southeast through Ouarzazate and Kalaat M'gouna on your way to Boumalne du Dades, arriving in the early evening around 18:00/6 PM.

- Day 2
Boumalne du Dades to Merzouga
Following breakfast, you'll drive a short distance to Todra Gorge and walk through it on foot, passing colorful vendor stalls along the way. The drive to Rissani takes about 2 hours, and this ancient spice market and camel trading town is where you'll have lunch with local Saharan pizza. Later you'll head toward Merzouga where the massive sand dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. Once there, you can walk around the dunes, relax by the pool, or try a quad or buggy ride before dinner back at your hotel.

- Day 3
Saharan Villages & Desert Camp
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll get picked up for a 4x4 journey through Saharan villages where you'll meet traditional nomads and share tea with them. You'll also connect with local Gnawa musicians and have lunch with a family in the area. Back at the hotel by afternoon, you can rest for a few hours before heading out around 5 PM for a one-hour camel ride at sunset. The evening brings you to a glamping camp where you can either climb the dune for views or relax, followed by traditional Saharan music, dinner by campfire, and an overnight stay.

Landmarks Sahara Desert - Day 4
Merzouga to Fes
You can choose an optional sunrise climb to a towering dune's top for panoramic views or try sandboarding down it instead. After that experience, camelback gets you back to Merzouga in roughly 1 hour where your 4x4 waits for the scenic drive toward Fes. A quick stop in Erfoud breaks up the journey before you pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Midelt is where you'll have lunch, and then you'll drive through cedar forests where Barbary macaques sometimes appear. Ifrane, Morocco's Alpine-style ski town, comes next before the final stretch into Fes.

- Day 5
Fes
After breakfast, your private local guide takes you through Fes, Morocco's oldest Imperial city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The medieval Medina's winding alleys reveal ancient architecture, and you'll visit the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University (the world's oldest according to many sources), the Bou Inania Madrasa, and Dar Batha Palace. Lunch happens in the afternoon, followed by a visit to the open-air leather tanneries where you can see the colorful dye vats that have been used for centuries. You'll spend time wandering through the Medina, watching how history, craftsmanship, and daily life all come together in one place.

Fes to Chefchaouen
Starting after breakfast at your Riad, you'll head toward Chefchaouen with stops in Meknes and Volubilis on the way. Meknes shows off the impressive Bab Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani water basin, and the Mausoleum. The remarkable Roman site of Volubilis comes next where you can walk through ancient ruins and view mosaics dating back to 25 BC. Then it's north to Chefchaouen, the blue town nestled in the Rif Mountains, where you'll settle in for a relaxing evening.

Chefchaouen to Tangier or Casablanca
After breakfast at your Riad, you'll visit the legendary Cave of Hercules near Tangier, a historic site with nice views over the Atlantic. The tour ends either at Tangier Port or at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, depending on which direction your travel plans take you.
