Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Munich
You'll arrive at Munich International Airport where your driver will be waiting for you. From there, it's a transfer to your hotel in the city center. Check-in opens at 14:00, so you can settle in and get comfortable. The rest of the day is yours to do as you like, whether that's resting after your flight or taking a casual walk around your hotel neighborhood to get oriented.

Munich City Exploration
Start your morning at Marienplatz, where you'll see the New Town Hall with its intricate Gothic architecture and the famous Glockenspiel chiming throughout the day. Next, head to the Frauenkirche Cathedral, then wander through Viktualienmarkt where local vendors sell fresh produce, flowers, and specialty foods. In the afternoon, you'll tour the Residenz Palace, which gives you a real sense of Bavarian royal history. By evening, grab dinner at a traditional beer garden for authentic Bavarian food and beer. If you're interested, there are art museums nearby and the expansive Englischer Garten if you want to add more to your day.

Palaces, Museums, and Parks
After breakfast, head out to Nymphenburg Palace, a former royal summer residence with grounds worth exploring and a carriage museum on the grounds. Later, you can choose between Museum Brandhorst for contemporary work or Alte Pinakothek if you prefer Old Masters paintings. In the evening, make your way to Hofbräuhaus beer hall where you'll find authentic Bavarian food and often live music. If you have time, walk through Englischer Garten, the huge urban park where locals actually surf on an artificial wave called the Eisbachwelle, which is worth seeing even if just for a few minutes.

Departure from Munich
After breakfast, your driver will pick you up for the transfer to Munich International Airport. Hotel check-out is at 12:00 noon. Plan to have your driver collect you at least 4 hours before your flight departs so you have plenty of time to get through the airport without rushing.
