Oslo
You'll arrive at Oslo Airport and meet your driver after clearing baggage, which typically takes around an hour. From there, head to your hotel and settle in for the night to recover from travel.
- Day 2
Oslo
Start the day with a guided walk through Oslo, hitting The Royal Palace, Karl Johans gate, Akerhus Fortress, and Oslo City Hall. Later in the day, board an electric boat for a quiet cruise across the inner Oslofjord with audio commentary, and you can take in views from either the lounge or the accessible deck.

Oslo
Spend time at the National Gallery looking at Norwegian and European art through the mid-1900s. After that, walk along the Akerselva river to the Grünerløkka neighbourhood, then check out Mathalen food hall with its 30 plus specialty shops, cafes, and restaurants. You'll head to the meeting point on your own.

Oslo to Geilo/Al/Finse
A transfer takes you to a location along the Oslo to Bergen railway (options include Geilo, Al, or Finse). Spend the day exploring at your own pace, whether that's hiking trails like Hardangervidda, visiting a giant troll sculpture, or checking out historic churches. In winter you can try sledding, while summer offers biking and fjord picnics. The area's also great for photos and stargazing.

Railway Journey to Bergen
Start early and head to the train station for the Norway in a Nutshell railway journey toward Bergen. You'll travel through mountainous terrain and charming villages like Gol and Geilo. At Myrdal, switch to the Flåm Railway for a scenic ride down to Flåm village where you have a couple hours to explore. At noon, board a boat sailing through the Aurlandsfjord into the Nærøyfjord (Europe's narrowest fjord and a UNESCO site), then take a bus with 13 hairpin turns and another train to reach Bergen.

- Day 6
Bergen
Take the Fløibanen Funicular from Bergen's city center up Mount Fløyen for panoramic views across Bergen and the surrounding landscape. The funicular has been running since 1918 and offers hiking trails at the top. Later, wander through Bergen on your own to see Bryggen with its preserved old houses, the fish and flower market, museums, and cafes. You'll reach the meeting point independently.
