  Our flight was delayed, and when we landed, both of us were really worried if the guide was still at the airport waiting for us. But when we reached out to Kaien on WhatsApp, we were so relieved to find out he was still there waiting for us. That instantly put our minds at ease! Every guide along the way was incredibly patient and took great care of us. UME Travel really exceeded our expectations. We're so grateful for the wonderful memories you helped create for us!

  The tour company was very responsive and guaranteed a good tour. An illness required some changes, and they implemented them smoothly. When we had to miss a day of the tour, they made up for it by giving an extra day after the tour had officially ended. Above all it was Phoebe that coordinated the tour and we are very grateful for her exemplary efforts. Highly recommended.

  We had the most amazing time on our 9-day Japan tour — just the two of us, and everything went so smoothly! A huge shoutout to our guide, Young, who truly went above and beyond to take care of us every step of the way. Young was not only super knowledgeable and professional, but also incredibly kind and attentive — always making sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and enjoying every stop on our itinerary. He made Japan feel so welcoming and stress-free, like traveling with a local friend. The itinerary itself was really well-paced with a great mix of iconic sights and more local, authentic experiences. Hotels were comfy and conveniently located, and our private driver made getting around effortless. If you're thinking of doing a private Japan trip, we can’t recommend this tour — and Young! — enough. Truly a trip to remember!

  This 9-day private tour through Japan was everything we hoped for — and more! I traveled with a group of close friends, and we had such an amazing time thanks to UME Travel and especially Amber, our wonderful travel coordinator. From the start, Amber was incredibly patient and responsive. She listened to all our requests and quickly customized an itinerary that perfectly matched what we were looking for — no cookie-cutter plans here! We felt totally taken care of before the trip even began. But what really touched us was the surprise she planned during the tour — she noticed from my passport that my birthday would fall during the trip, and she actually arranged a birthday cake to be delivered to me while we were in Japan! I was so shocked and touched — it made the whole experience feel even more personal and special. The guides and drivers were all professional, friendly, and on time. Every day ran smoothly, and we got to explore so many incredible places — without any stress. Huge thanks to Amber and the UME Travel team for creating such a memorable experience for us.   Our children were always fascinated with Japanese culture. And so about 10 months ago, we decided to surprise them with a trip to Japan. I honestly didn't know where to start. On one hand I didn't want a group tour as it's very structured and crowded. On the other hand I was hesitant to plan on my own and manage logistics in the country I know very little about. I started my research and stumbled across UME Travel company advertising private tours to Asia. I decided to submit my request and within minutes Phoebe reached out to me. He was very patient and responsive. I had tons of questions and was very skeptical. Phoebe tailored and retailored our itinerary multiple times to meet our needs and budget. When the final draft was ready we made our payment, received detailed agreement, and the anticipation has begun. I would be a liar if I'd say I wasn't nervous. I was a wreck. And no matter how many times Phoebe tried to assure me that everything is going to be fine, I was still very concerned. Fast forward, a week before our trip, we received detailed itinerary with dates, hotels, transportation and even packing list. 2 days before our arrival a list of drivers and guides was also sent to us. The driver contacted us as we landed (the company also supplied us with esim card so we could communicate) and let us know he was waiting for us. Honestly I felt like a VIP. The driver was holding a sign with our name, he helped us with our luggage and a van was waiting for us in the parking lot. We got transported to a hotel in Tokyo with a great view and very nice accommodations. The guide reached out to us immediately detailing our plans for the next day. I won't go into details of our trip as it was tailored to our interests and needs. But I just wanted to highlight that every driver, guide and travel agent (Phoebe) were professional and organized. Never late, always providing us with the best service possible. They also were very flexible if we wanted to make changes to our schedule or visit different sites than what was initially on the itinerary. It also so happened that it was my son's birthday on the second day of our journey. The guide found an incredible place for our celebration and made a generous gift on behalf of the company. Our departure was as smooth as arrival. Overall an incredibly trip for the whole family. I whole heartely recommend UME Travel and their amazing travel agent Phoebe.
