Itinerary
- Day 1
Keflavik to Reykjavik
You'll arrive at Keflavik airport and catch a shuttle bus into Reykjavik where your hotel is located. If your flight gets in with decent daylight, there's time to walk around the capital and get a feel for the city on your own before settling in for the night.

- Keflavik International Airport / Keflavíkurflugvöllur (KEF), Keflavíkurflugvelli, Sandgerði, Southern Peninsula Region 235, Iceland (Flybus PLUS shuttle transfer from Keflavík International Airport to your accomodation in Reykjavík. The Flybus departs from Keflavík Airport 35-40 minutes after each flight arrival. )

- Day 2
Golden Circle & Þingvellir National Park
This is the Golden Circle day. You'll stop at Gullfoss waterfall first, then head to the Geysir geothermal area for a traditional Geo Taste experience with hot spring bread, Icelandic butter, boiled eggs, and herring. From there, you'll make your way to Thingvellir National Park to see the tectonic rift between the North American and Eurasian plates and take in the landscape.

- Day 3
Solar Eclipse Viewing & Reykjavik
Spend your morning checking out Reykjavik at whatever pace works for you. In the afternoon, a professional guide takes you to a premier eclipse viewing location. You'll watch the Moon pass in front of the Sun as the sky turns to twilight. Eclipse glasses are provided, and there's an optional telescope set up at a cozy oceanside restaurant if you want to see more detail. The day wraps up with a 3-course dinner and champagne to mark the occasion.

- Day 4
Reykjavik City Tour & Reykjanes Peninsula
The morning includes a guided Reykjavik city tour hitting the main landmarks and a local tasting. After that, you'll head out to the Reykjanes Peninsula to see the geothermal landscapes. You'll check out Gunnuhver, Iceland's largest bubbling mud pool, then the colorful geothermal area at Krysuvik, followed by the Brimketill lava rock pool. Later, you'll cross the Bridge Between Continents where tectonic plates meet. The day finishes with time soaking in the warm, mineral-rich waters of the Blue Lagoon surrounded by lava fields.

- Day 5
South Coast & Westman Islands
You'll travel along the South Coast to Seljalandsfoss waterfall where you can actually walk behind the falling water. Then it's time to catch a ferry to Vestmannaeyjar in the Westman Islands. There you'll explore bird cliffs, see Elephant Rock, and visit a volcanic crater from the 1973 eruption. The Eldheimar Museum rounds out the day, telling the island's story of how people rebuilt after that volcanic event.

You'll explore the Svinafellsjokull glacier tongue that extends from Vatnajokull, Iceland's largest glacier, seeing its dramatic ice formations and deep crevasses. Next, you're heading to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon to see drifting icebergs. An included amphibian boat tour gets you close to the brilliant blue icebergs. Later in the afternoon, you'll reach the town of Vik and catch the Lava Show, a controlled display of molten lava.

- Day 7
South Coast Highlights & Glacier Walk
Start at Reynisfjara Beach to see the black sands and towering basalt columns. Then you'll do a guided glacier walk on Solheimajokull to get up close with the ice and learn about how it's changed over time. Later, you'll stop at Skogafoss waterfall where a powerful cascade and rainbows make for a nice finish to the day.
