Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Geneva to Chamonix

    You'll get picked up from Geneva and driven to Chamonix, where you check into your hotel and get settled. After that, there's a welcome briefing to go over what's ahead, followed by a group dinner so you can meet everyone and start getting oriented before things kick off.

  2. Day 2

    Chamonix

    The day starts with a tour through Chamonix town, then you'll ride the iconic Red Cogwheel train up to Mer du Glace. Lunch happens at the historic Grand Hotel du Montenvers, and after eating you'll explore inside the Ice Cave within the glacier. The walk back down to Chamonix takes the afternoon, and by evening there's a group dinner to wrap things up.

  3. Day 3

    Chamonix

    An early morning transfer gets you to Les Houches where you board a cable car heading up to Bellevue plateau. From there, you'll hike the Tour Du Mont Blanc route toward Refugio Miage, stopping for a hearty lunch along the way. After that you walk down to Les Contamines and catch a transfer back to Chamonix for dinner.

  4. Day 4

    Chamonix

    This morning you pick between three options: attempt a short Via Ferrata, try tandem paragliding if you're interested, or take a scenic walk down from La Flegere cable car into Chamonix. The afternoon is flexible, so you can ride the cable car to Aiguille du Midi for views, do some wine tasting, or just wander around the village. Everyone meets up for group dinner later.

  6. Day 6

    Chamonix to Courmayeur

    This morning it's time to leave Chamonix and head to Courmayeur on the Italian side of Mont Blanc. You'll check into your new hotel, then explore the historic Roman town of Aosta with a private guided tour. The day finishes with group dinner at your hotel.

  7. Day 7

    Courmayeur

    The group splits up today based on what each person wants to do. One option is a challenging Via Ferrata, while another is a more relaxed scenic hike through the mountains. Later on you'll all get back together and have group dinner, sharing what you did during the day.

  8. Day 8

    Courmayeur

    You'll hike in Val Veny following the Tour Du Mont Blanc route, walking through glacial moraines and past mountain lakes with big panoramic views the whole way. The day ends with group dinner back in town.

    Courmayeur

    A transfer takes you to Val Ferret where you hike the northern balcony route, getting great views of the Italian side of Monte Bianco and the South Face of the Grandes Jorasses. There's a stop at Refugio Bertone for refreshments, and if you prefer something easier, a lower route with less altitude gain is available. You'll walk back down to Courmayeur and finish with group dinner.

For tours departing after February 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with No Roads Expeditions. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
