Kilimanjaro Airport to Tarangire
Your safari guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport, then you'll drive about 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park. Once you're settled at the lodge, head out on an afternoon game drive where you can look for elephants, lions, giraffes, and other wildlife hanging around the Tarangire River.

Tarangire to Serengeti
After breakfast, travel through the scenic Rift Valley toward Serengeti National Park. The 5-hour journey shows you how the landscape changes from green highlands to open plains. You'll arrive in the afternoon and then go on your first game drive in the Serengeti to get oriented.

Serengeti
The whole day is spent exploring the Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives give you solid chances to see lions, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeests. If the timing lines up, you might catch the Great Migration in action. A packed lunch will be waiting for you in the bush so you can take in the savannah.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 4
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Start early with a morning game drive, then head toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which takes about 4 hours. You'll have a picnic lunch during the drive and then descend into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater has huge numbers of wildlife including black rhinos, lions, and flamingos in one concentrated area.

Take a morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater for one final chance to spot the Big Five. After lunch, drive back to Arusha, roughly 3.5 hours away. You'll have a farewell dinner there before heading to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight.
