Mexico City
You'll arrive in Mexico and get transferred to your hotel to get settled in. Your guide will reach out to you later in the afternoon to touch base and go over what's coming up next.

Teotihuacan
After breakfast, you're heading to Teotihuacan, which sits about 40 km outside Mexico City. There you'll see the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, and walk along the Avenue of the Dead. Before that you'll check out the Plaza of the Three Cultures in the city itself. You'll also stop by a local artisan center and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe on the way back. The rest of your day is free to relax or explore on your own.

- Day 3
Tepoztlan - Cuernavaca - Taxco
This morning after breakfast you're traveling to Tepoztlán, a wellness-focused town with great views of green hillsides. You'll have time to walk through the streets and check out the artisan market there. From there, head to Cuernavaca to see the Palace of Hernán Cortés, the cathedral, and some nice gardens, plus you'll have time for lunch. Later you'll continue on to Taxco, a colonial mountain town known for its silver craftsmanship. You'll get to explore the town before settling in for the night.

- Day 4
Chilpancingo - Acapulco
After breakfast, you're driving through mountains to Chilpancingo, where you'll visit a regional museum with large murals showing Mexico's history. Then you'll head to Acapulco to spend time on the beach and have lunch at local spots. In the afternoon, you can visit La Fortaleza, a 17th-century fort that was built to protect against pirates. After that, you'll transfer to your hotel and have free time to unwind.

Acapulco to Zihuatanejo
You're traveling 230 km along the Pacific Coast to Zihuatanejo after breakfast. From there, you'll take a short 10-minute boat ride out to Playa Las Gatas, which you can only reach by water. You'll spend time swimming, relaxing, and grabbing lunch at restaurants on the beach. The boat takes you back later and you'll settle into your accommodation with free time left in the day.

Lake Patzcuaro - Janitzio - Patzcuaro
The landscape shifts as you head into the green mountains of Michoacán. You'll visit Lake Pátzcuaro and take a 30-minute boat journey to Janitzio island, where the Purépecha community lives and practices traditional butterfly-net fishing. There's lunch at local restaurants and you can walk through traditional streets. If you want, you can climb up to the statue of José María Morelos for views. The boat brings you back to Pátzcuaro, a colonial town with pre-Hispanic roots and artisan markets.

You're heading to Morelia this morning, the capital of Michoacán and a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its pink stone architecture. You'll see the cathedral, Plaza de Armas, and a university founded back in 1540, with free time to explore and grab lunch. Next you'll go to Cuitzeo del Porvenir near Mexico's second-largest lake to visit the 16th-century Ex-Convent of Santa María Magdalena. Later you'll arrive in Guadalajara in the evening, a vibrant colonial city famous for mariachi music and tequila.

Tequila - Guadalajara
This morning you're touring Guadalajara's colonial historic center, seeing the cathedral, a market, and Tapatía square. You'll also visit the Cabañas Hospice, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. After that, you're heading to the town of Tequila to tour the Mundo Cuervo distillery and learn how tequila is made, including a tasting. You'll have free time to walk around and have lunch before heading back to Guadalajara.

You're traveling to Guanajuato and arriving around midday. In the afternoon, you'll take a city tour of this university town that's a World Heritage site. You'll explore its steep slopes, narrow streets, and churches. There's also a cable car ride up to El Pípila viewpoint where you can look out over the city.

Hacienda Atongo - Queretaro
This morning you have free time in Querétaro to explore this UNESCO World Heritage city founded in 1531 with historic importance to Mexico's independence. You can walk the cobbled streets, check out colonial squares with colorful buildings, visit the 18th-century aqueduct, and browse gardens and markets. In the afternoon, you're heading 40 km away to Hacienda Atongo, a 17th-century estate. There you'll get a guided theatrical tour with actors playing historical characters, explore the vineyard and buildings, watch performances, and have a drink made from estate wine before heading back to Querétaro.
