I would need to arrange flights the day before as I would not be there for 2 pm, can you suggest the same hotel to stay prior to the trip or do I need to sort that myself? Are there any many solo travellers, this would be my first time, possibly a little nervous!
G AdventuresOperator•Written October 2025Sure you can add the single supplement for an additional 789.00 AUD. We can add pre tour accommodation for 170.00 AUD per night also. As this tour is quite far in advance there are currently no other travellers booked on this departure, although that will definitely change as we get closer to the departure date. All travellers must be solo however, friends / pairs are not eligible to join this tour so it's perfect if you are nervous about being on your own.

Asked on October 5th, 2025I would like to know if single accommodation is possible and how to select this option at the time of booking. What are the details about luggage size? Is 160cm the sum of depth, length and width of the luggage? What does 'main luggage' mean?

Single rooms are offered on all travel styles, except 18-Thirtysomethings and Roamies by Hostelworld. You can add this option when you hold a space on the tour. Luggage must be less than 160cm in total (sum of height + width + depth). Luggage between 160-250cm will incur a 1,000 JPY fee per journey, and over 251cm is prohibited on Shinkansen trains. Main luggage refers to the same 160cm luggage.

You have two rooming options for this trip: 1. Pay the twin/double price listed on the website and be paired up to share with another solo traveller of the same gender. 2. Pay an additional charge of about 499.00 USD and have your own room, please note that it's subject to availability, and if it's booked, you will receive your own single accommodation for all night stops, with the following exceptions: night 3 (temple stay) and night 6.
