- John· October 2nd, 2025The driver/guide was terrific, with a font of knowledge and a wonderful sense of humour. The places we visited were fascinating and up to our expectations. And the weather was pretty kind; no rain although very windy as we expected.Show more

Asked on January 5th, 2025We are a group of 4 interested in this tour. We're retired and have flexibility in our dates (looking at September). Could we start in Glasgow and end in Edinburgh? And this is a month long trip for us, we will each have a suitcase of approx 23 kg (max weight, probably a bit less, medium size) and a small backpack each. Can we take this tour with our luggage?
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written January 2025
Certainly! Our 5-day Scottish choice tour showcases the very best of Scotland and is available throughout September, with departures every Monday and Thursday. For your convenience, you can choose to depart from either our Edinburgh or Glasgow location, and you can select your preferred location before arrival. Regarding luggage, we guarantee that each passenger may carry one piece of luggage with dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, weighing no more than 15 kg. This is similar to the hand luggage allowed on an aircraft. Alternatively, you may bring one larger suitcase with a maximum weight of 30 kg shared between two travellers. Due to limited space on our mini coaches, we cannot guarantee the transport of larger suitcases. In addition to your stored luggage, you are allowed one piece of carry-on luggage, typically a small backpack for your daily essentials. Unfortunately, we do not have storage space for larger items at our departure points. If you have larger suitcases or luggage, you can find left luggage offices at the train and bus stations in Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Inverness. Our departure point is just a short walk (5-10 minutes) from these locations.
