The bus was comfortable, with plenty of stops to take in the beautiful Scottish countryside. Orkney was fascinating, lots of standing stones and relics from the people living there 5000 years ago. Day 2 was a bit long due to the ferry ride and the remoteness of Orkney. But that paid off the next 2 days. Andy was great, interesting, funny, informative, accommodating to the travelers. I loved the music the driver played throughout the journey eg scottish. There are no castle tours as part of the official itinerary on this tour. You will likely see many as you are driving about the country but there are no visits scheduled. That being said, our tours are very flexible so if there is demand from passengers on board the bus to visit a castle, then this could possibly be arranged. If you speak to your driver-guide while on tour they can advise you.
