Itinerary
- Day 1
Thessaloniki
You'll be met at Thessaloniki Airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Keep in mind that Sunday arrivals include only transfers with no tours scheduled that day. If you're arriving Monday through Saturday, you'll get a €45 per person discount since there's one less tour on your arrival day.

Thessaloniki
After breakfast, you'll head into Thessaloniki to see the main historical sites. The UNESCO-listed Agios Demetrius Church is your first stop, followed by walking through the Old Town to get a feel for the city's character. You'll then see the Arch of Galerius, check out the Archaeological Museum, and look at artifacts from the Venizelos Metro Station excavations. Later, you'll spend time along the waterfront and stop by the Alexander the Great Monument before wrapping up the day.

Mount Olympus - Litochoro
After breakfast, you're heading to Dion, an ancient city where you'll walk through temples, mosaics, and ruins while visiting the on-site archaeological museum. From there, you'll travel to Mount Olympus and go up to the Stavros refuge for views of the landscape. Next comes a walk through the village of Litochoro, and you'll have the rest of the day free to grab lunch or take a short hike through the Enipeas Gorge if you're interested.

Edessa - Winery
After breakfast, you'll visit Pella, the ancient Macedonian capital and birthplace of Alexander the Great, to see its mosaics and archaeological remains. Then you're on to Edessa, known as the 'City of Water,' where you'll see the famous waterfalls and rivers. Lunch is on your own time, and later you'll head to a winery to taste Xinomavro wine and learn about how Greeks make their wines.

Kalambaka
After breakfast, you'll go to Meteora, a UNESCO site where monasteries sit on top of dramatic cliffs. You're visiting two of the well-preserved ones to see the frescoes, icons, and museum pieces while learning about monastic history there. By lunchtime, you'll be in the village of Kalambaka with time to eat while surrounded by the cliffs and scenery.

Aigai (Vergina)
After breakfast, you'll start in Veria at Saint Paul's Bema, the place where the Apostle preached. From there, you'll go to Aigai (also called Vergina), the ancient capital, and visit the museum and the UNESCO-listed Royal Tombs of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great. You'll see golden artifacts and treasures from the tombs, then you'll have time to grab lunch or walk around Vergina village and see what's left of the Royal Palace.
