    Freiburg

    In Freiburg, you have two options for the day. Either walk through the historic center with its colorful half-timbered houses and the market square, or join a bike tour around the medieval town of Breisach to see Rhine River views. The botanical garden is also worth checking out if you have time.

    Today offers two choices. You can visit Schwetzingen Palace and walk through its gardens with over 100 sculptures, learning about the palace design, or take a guided hike through the vineyards near Bad-Dürkheim, a wellness town in a European heritage site.

After arriving in Koblenz, there's an orientation walk through open squares and narrow streets. You can see the German Corner where two rivers meet and get a look at Ehrenbreitstein Fortress.

    Starting in Cologne, you'll either take a guided tour of the Old Town and famous Cathedral or join an active walk through the city's gardens. After that, you'll sail north to Düsseldorf for its own guided tour and a visit to the Japanese gardens tucked into the city.
