Freiburg
In Freiburg, you have two options for the day. Either walk through the historic center with its colorful half-timbered houses and the market square, or join a bike tour around the medieval town of Breisach to see Rhine River views. The botanical garden is also worth checking out if you have time.

Kehl to Strasbourg
Heading to Strasbourg by coach from Kehl, you'll get a guided tour through the cobbled squares and Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later you'll see Petite France with its canals and old houses. The afternoon is free to wander around on your own and hit the boutiques and cafes.

Heidelberg Region
Today offers two choices. You can visit Schwetzingen Palace and walk through its gardens with over 100 sculptures, learning about the palace design, or take a guided hike through the vineyards near Bad-Dürkheim, a wellness town in a European heritage site.

Rhine Gorge to Koblenz
You'll sail through the Rhine Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage area, passing romantic castles on hillsides and medieval villages along the banks. After arriving in Koblenz, there's an orientation walk through open squares and narrow streets. You can see the German Corner where two rivers meet and get a look at Ehrenbreitstein Fortress.

Cologne to Düsseldorf
Starting in Cologne, you'll either take a guided tour of the Old Town and famous Cathedral or join an active walk through the city's gardens. After that, you'll sail north to Düsseldorf for its own guided tour and a visit to the Japanese gardens tucked into the city.

At Keukenhof Gardens, you'll see over 800 varieties of spring flowers including tulips, hyacinths, and orchids. There are flower shows and sculptures by known artists throughout the grounds to check out. Back on your Star-Ship in the afternoon, you can try a clog painting experience.

Amsterdam to London
After leaving the cruise, you'll transfer to Amsterdam Centraal and take the train to London St. Pancras. From there, it's off to your hotel for a 3-night stay. You can explore London at your own pace, either walking through the historic streets or taking a leisurely walk along the Thames or through the parks.

A guided city tour covers London's major historical landmarks like Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace. You'll also head to Trafalgar Square, see the West End theatre district, and catch the Changing of the Guard ceremony.

London Departure
