You'll arrive in Amsterdam and get picked up at the airport for a transfer to your Emerald Cruises Star-Ship. Once onboard, the captain and crew will greet you and help you settle in for the journey ahead.

Rotterdam - Dordrecht
Rotterdam's modern skyline reflects its post-WWII rebuilding, and you can see the historic Witte Huis standing among the contemporary structures. From there, the ship sails to Dordrecht where you'll walk into town with your Activity Manager to get oriented.

Nijmegen

Bonn
Bonn's history includes its time as West Germany's capital and its connection to Beethoven. Choose between a walking tour covering the Bonn Minster's Romanesque and Gothic styles, the Altes Rathaus, and Beethoven House, or a guided bike tour for a different angle. The afternoon allows time to relax on deck while sailing.

Bernkastel
Start by walking through Bernkastel's medieval streets and checking out the well-preserved buildings that go back centuries. The riverside town has a lot of character, so you'll want to take your time exploring the old architecture. In the afternoon, you have options depending on what you're in the mood for. You could spend time wandering the Moselle vineyards and trying some of the region's Riesling wine, which is what this area is known for. Or if you prefer something more active, there's a hike up to the Landshut Castle Ruins that gives you panoramic views over the river and surrounding landscape. Either way, you'll get a good sense of the region's history and natural beauty.

Cochem
