- Day 1
Broome
You'll arrive in Broome and get oriented to this coastal town in Western Australia's Kimberley region. Start by heading through Gantheaume Point and Chinatown, then make your way to Cable Beach, which stretches for 22km along the coast and gives you one of Australia's best sunset views. Later that evening, there's a beer tour and tasting at Spinifex Brewery to check out, finishing with a welcome dinner.

Broome to Windjana Gorge
You're heading out early along the Great Northern Highway with a quick stop at Willare Bridge Roadhouse. From there you'll go into Bandilngan (Windjana Gorge) National Park to walk around the sandy riverbeds where freshwater crocodiles live. Then it's on to Dimalurru (Tunnel Creek), a cave system with stalactites and stalagmites where bats and crocodiles hang out. You'll settle in at Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge for the night in their tented accommodation.

Wunaamin Conservation Park
This morning you're heading to Wunaamin Conservation Park to go for a swim at Barker Pool. After lunch, you'll check out Dalmanyi (Bell Gorge) where there's a cascading waterfall dropping into a deep pool. It's a good spot to cool off with another swim if you want.

Gibb River Road to El Questro
You're traveling the Gibb River Road today and stopping at Galvans Gorge in the Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges Conservation Park for a refreshing swim. After you grab a picnic lunch, you'll ford across the shallows of the Durack River and Pentecost River to reach the foothills of the Cockburn Range and El Questro Wilderness Park.

Start the day by soaking in the naturally warm thermal waters at Zebedee Springs before heading to El Questro Station for lunch. During the afternoon, you'll take a cruise on Chamberlain Gorge with towering escarpments surrounding you. Later you'll head to Emma Gorge Resort for dinner under the stars.

Emma Gorge to Kununurra
You'll explore Emma Gorge this morning, taking in its dramatic cliffs and the serene droplet waterfall. Then you're driving down the Gibb River Road one last time toward Kununurra. After you get to Lake Argyle, there's a cruise on the Ord River where you can see the region's flora and fauna. You'll stay overnight in Kununurra.

- Day 7
Kununurra to Purnululu
You're heading to Purnululu National Park, which is on the World Heritage list. The main draw is the iconic orange and black-striped Bungle Bungle Range domes that you'll see. In the afternoon, you'll head north to explore Echidna Chasm, which cuts into the northern reaches of Bungle Bungle.

This morning brings a walk along Piccaninny Creek leading to the iconic Bungle Bungle domes. From there you'll head to Cathedral Gorge where you'll have a picnic lunch in this natural amphitheater. By evening you'll watch the sunset cast light over the rugged range.

Fitzroy Crossing to Broome
