Prague
You'll arrive at Prague airport and head to your hotel in the historic centre. Later in the evening, you'll meet the other travelers and your Tour Director at a Welcome Reception.

Prague
Start with a tour of Prague's Old Town beginning at Strahov Monastery, which gives you panoramic views of the city. Then you'll cross Charles Bridge and reach Old Market Square to see the Astronomical Clock. The rest of the day is yours to wander around Prague however you'd like. If you're interested, there's an optional traditional Czech folklore dinner and show available this evening.

Prague
This is a free day to explore Prague on your own schedule. You could check out the Jewish Quarter to learn about its history and visit Franz Kafka's birthplace, or if you prefer a guide, there's an optional tour of Prague Castle available, which is the world's largest castle complex and dates back to the 9th century.

Prague to Budapest
After breakfast, you'll travel by coach to Budapest and board your river ship. Later this evening, there's a Welcome Reception where you'll meet your fellow travelers.

Budapest
You'll wake up to views of Budapest along the Danube before disembarking to explore the city with a local guide visiting important sights. Back on the ship this evening, you'll have a Gala Welcome Dinner while cruising. There's also an optional guided tour of the Hungarian State Opera available, which includes a private opera recital and sparkling wine.

Vienna
Upon arriving in Vienna's city centre, you'll join a walking tour to see St Stephen's Cathedral, the Graben, and Hofburg Palace. Later, you have free time to check out the Naschmarkt. An optional Mozart and Strauss concert is available this evening, followed by a drive around the Ringstrasse.

Vienna
You have the day to yourself to explore Vienna at your own pace. Wander around the Hofburg area or do some shopping along Kärntnerstrasse. Optional excursions include a trip to Schönbrunn Palace or a day trip to Bratislava, Slovakia's capital.

Melk
The ship takes you to Dürnstein, a charming town with cobbled streets and historic buildings beneath hilltop castle ruins where King Richard the Lionheart was held in the 12th century. Browse the taverns and historic townhouses, and there's an optional wine tasting tour available. Later you'll sail through the Wachau Valley and arrive in Melk to tour the Benedictine monastery, which has operated continuously since 1089.

This evening, there's a traditional Bavarian experience on board with local beer, snacks, and folk music.

Bamberg

Würzburg
Today you'll explore Würzburg, which sits surrounded by lush hills and vineyards. You can see the baroque Würzburg Residence and the city's Court Garden. An optional excursion to medieval Rothenburg on the Romantic Road is available, which is a fairytale walled town.

As evening comes, you'll watch medieval towns pass by while the ship cruises through the night.

Rüdesheim
In Rüdesheim, the Winzerexpress mini train will take you to Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. After returning to the ship, you'll sail along the Rhine Gorge and take in the spectacular scenery.

Brühl
As you cruise into Cologne, you'll learn about the famous twin-spired Kölner Dom cathedral, which took over six centuries to complete. You'll disembark and drive to Brühl to explore the World Heritage-listed Augustusburg Palace, the former residence of Archbishop-Elector Clemens August. Then you'll wander through the landscaped parks and gardens and visit the Falkenlust hunting lodge.
