- GVGiacomo· October 29th, 2025Overall, a good trip. Nice group. I loved the Open Air Museum, the boat tour near Kas, the homestay experience, Ephesus, etc. There was a lot of free time, but I took advantage of it to walk a lot and really explore some villages that were worth it — Antalya, Kas, and Göreme, among others. The hotels were decent. Quite a lot of driving though. It’s a shame we weren’t given more time for some visits (Pamukkale, Open Air Museum in Cappadocia) even though we had plenty of free time on those days. The guide was fine — we had a great trip, he did his job properly, was friendly and smart — but I was a bit disappointed overall. Also quite disappointed by the recommended restaurants, which were very touristy both in food quality and in prices, which were high for what we got.Show moreTrip date: October 2025
- NSNatasha· October 27th, 2025See lots of sites. Beware that if you don't prebuy the optional activities that are available they could be almost double the price in the country. Also some optional activities could only be purchased with cash. Others that accepted credit card charged $5-10 euros extra for using the card. Lot of activities were priced in euros.Show moreTrip date: October 2025

Jean· October 16th, 2024The trip itself was great but we prepaid for two extra hotel nights before the start of the tour. Our credit card was charged on Sept 14 but no room was available when we arrived on Sept 27. After a two hour wait late at night we were eventually given a smelly basement room with no window. As no other room was available we checked out the next morning and paid for a room at a hotel down the street. We raised the issue with G Adventures who has given us the run around promising an investigation and then a referral to an operation team and then to a customer specialist team. Neither has responded. While our guide and the trip in Turkey was great, the complete lack of service from G Adventures to the hotel problem leaves us not recommending them as a company.Show more

Asked on August 5th, 2025Do you happen to offer any tours around that time? That would be between the 24th of April and the 12th of May.
G AdventuresOperator•Written August 2025We have multiple tours in that region, they may not depart specifically in that short window that you are able to travel. Tours that explore Georgia and Armenia, most synonymous with the Caucasus region, generally begin in early to mid May.

Asked on May 20th, 2025I like to know the additional cost that we need to be prepared to pay please ( Meals, entrance museum etc. Accommodation has a private bathroom inside the rooms? The choice of hotels had been improved? Transportation is comfortable? I read all the reviews and some have concerns regarding the lack of comfort in the transportation that was provided. Has the quality of food improved from last year? Sorry that I have so many questions but it's not easy to decide which company to take the Turkey Tour
G AdventuresOperator•Written May 2025We do not do cost breakdown for all things not included as that varies per person. That being said, we ask that you allow USD275-360 for meals not included. The service level is standard so you can expect comfortable tourist-class accommodations with character; mix of public and private transport.

Asked on March 15th, 20251. Is the Whirling Dervishes show in Konya and organized by the department of tourism? 2. What are we doing in Konya? Do we visit Rumi's museum and grave? 3. In Cappadocia, which tours do you do – Red, Green or Blue? 4. On day 4 and 5 you mention the same itinerary – the open air Goreme museum? What exactly are you covering? 5. Regarding Explore Ephesus- if we wish to see Ephesus Ancient City, Visit the House of Virgin Mary, See Artemis Temple, how do we go about it? What will the cost be? 6. I am a single person.
