Itinerary
- Day 1
Salt Lake City to Grand Teton National Park
You'll leave Salt Lake City at 7am and drive to Grand Teton National Park. Once there, you can explore at your own pace with self-guided walks to spots like Inspiration Point or around Jenny Lake, where the views of those dramatic peaks are hard to beat. Keep your eyes open for wildlife including bison, moose, and grizzly bears if you're lucky. For the night, you'll stay at a full-service campground that has electricity, Wi-Fi, hot showers, and flush toilets, so it's comfortable enough even if you're not usually a camping person.

- Day 2
Grand Teton National Park to Yellowstone National Park
After breakfast, you'll head out from Grand Teton toward Yellowstone National Park where a guide will take you through the North and South loops. You'll see Old Faithful erupt, check out the brilliant colors of the Grand Prismatic Pool and other hot springs, walk through Yellowstone Canyon, and visit Mammoth Hot Springs. Grizzly bears, wolves, buffalo, and elk roam the park, so you'll have good chances to spot them. At the end of the day, you'll camp in the park.

Yellowstone National Park
Your guide takes over again today as you continue through Yellowstone's volcanic landscape. The itinerary shifts based on what interests your group and what you're comfortable with, so one day might focus on geothermal features while another emphasizes wildlife viewing or hiking. It's flexible enough to match your pace and preferences.

Yellowstone National Park to Salt Lake City
In the afternoon you'll leave Yellowstone and head back toward Salt Lake City. Before you go, there's an option to stop at the Yellowstone Grizzly Bear and Wolf Discovery Center if you want to learn more about the park's predators, though this costs extra. You should arrive at Crystal Inn around 4pm for your drop-off.
