- AFAlan· October 21st, 2025Sara Palmer was an excellent diver and guide. However on the first day she asked everyone to rotate seats, which most of us did except one lady. Also on day one there should have been a short time for everyone to introduce themselves to the whole group with maybe a 30 second bio. Our only complaint is for the amount we paid, we should have never been asked to stay in Cooke City. That motel/cabins were not very comfortable or clean. Otherwise the Tetons and Yellowstone are majestic.Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- PBPeter· September 29th, 2025Cody was a very good guide, full of interesting information about the history of the areas we visited. He had a great sense of humour. Due to the nature of the areas we travelled to there was a lot of backtracking over the same territory to get to the next destination.Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- GWGary· September 17th, 2025We had an amazing tour. Our guide, Sarah, was incredibly knowledgeable and added so much to our experience. The only negative I would mention is that it is advertised as an eight day tour when 2 of the 8 days in the van are mostly driving. It’s really only a six day tour.Show moreTrip date: September 2025

Asked on September 6th, 202585 year old husband with very limited mobility. Uses cane, occasionally a walker can you help us
Southwest Adventure ToursOperator•Written September 2025You have to be able to hike 3-5 miles a day on this tour. You dont have to do more than a mile at a time. There are look out points you can stay back on if you do not want to go further with the group. The group will catch up with you on the way back in. Unfortunately if your husband is having mobility issues this tour will not be the best fit for him.

Asked on August 21st, 2025We are very interested in this tour for 2026 in August. There are 3 adults & would like a quote for 2 rooms....one double & one single. Also would like recommendations on adding a couple of days on the end for Glacier National Park on our own. We are all in our 70's.
Southwest Adventure ToursOperator•Written August 2025The double price would be 3649.00 (included taxes and fees) per person and the single price would be 4,050(includes taxes and fees). This totals 11,348.00. I did not include and pre or post night hotels on this reservation because they have to be booked through our office.

Asked on January 21st, 2025Does unlevel refer to loose rocks and such or just up and down changes? Are the trails on wilderness trails upkept but still uneven paths?
Southwest Adventure ToursOperator•Written January 2025On this tour there are hikes that are up to 3 miles round trip with an accumulated distance of about 5 miles through out the day. The trails are on wilderness trails, so they are upkept but still uneven paths and could have small rocks on them.

Asked on December 11th, 2024My wife and I are both in our mid 60s and I run quite a bit, for example I will be completing a half marathon at the end of March this year. However felicity (my wife) only does short walks and so she is trying to understand how tiring this would be so whilst the information you have provided is useful it doesnt tell the complete story. eg how much distance needs tio be covered in a single day? what is the balance between moving around in our transport v walking around (even my 1/2 marathon only takes up 2 hours. So I am still struggling with the effort required - especially as the tour description says "up to 90 yo" can do this tour.
Southwest Adventure ToursOperator•Written December 2024On this tour there are hikes that are up to 3 miles round trip, with an accumulated hiking distance of about 5 miles throughout the day. If Felicity is not feeling up to the hike, she is welcome to sit it out, but the group will still be doing the hike. Most of the places we stop to hike will have a lovely lookout point or picnic area for her to enjoy while the group hikes.
