Arrival in Copenhagen
You'll arrive in Copenhagen and get picked up from the airport, then head to your hotel for check-in. This is when you'll meet the other travelers on your tour and your tour director. Spend the evening settling in and getting oriented to the city.

Copenhagen
After breakfast, join a guided city tour that includes a canal cruise through Copenhagen. You'll pass through the colorful Nyhavn district where Hans Christian Andersen once lived, see old buildings lining the waterways, and get a view of Amalienborg Palace where the Danish royal family lives.

Landmarks Nyhavn Amalienborg Palace - Day 3
Copenhagen
Start with a visit to Christiansborg Palace, which was once a royal residence and now houses the Danish Parliament and Supreme Court. The afternoon is yours to spend however you like. Consider checking out Tivoli Gardens, visiting Rosenborg Castle to see the Danish crown jewels, or grabbing a coffee and trying some open-faced sandwiches at a cafe terrace.

Copenhagen to Amsterdam
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Amsterdam. Once you land and settle into your transfer, you'll board your Emerald Cruises Star-Ship and start your river cruise through the Netherlands and Belgium.

Amsterdam
This morning you can either check out Zaanse Schans with its historic windmills and wooden houses, or take a guided bike tour to Waterland through tulip fields and countryside. Later in the afternoon, a local clog painter comes aboard to show you how it's done, and you can try painting your own.

Landmarks Zaanse Schans Waterland - Day 6
The Hague / Rotterdam
You'll have a private visit to the Mauritshuis museum, which has incredible Dutch paintings from the 1600s including Vermeer's 'Girl with the Pearl Earring'. In the afternoon, either join a guided bike tour through the Dutch countryside or head to Delft to see the pottery studios where they make the famous blue and white ceramics.

Rotterdam
Spend the day exploring Rotterdam, a city that was rebuilt after World War II and now has modern architecture mixed with historic sites. You can join a guided architectural tour to see the Witte Huis and other impressive buildings, or take a bike tour through the surrounding countryside if you prefer something more relaxed.

Landmarks Witte Huis - Day 8
Antwerp
Your ship arrives in Antwerp, Belgium's largest port city. The city has a rich art history and was home to the Baroque painter Pieter Paul Rubens. Join a guided walking tour through the center to see the Renaissance city hall, Hat Steen fortress, and the cobbled streets with cafes. The rest of the day is free for you to explore on your own.

- Day 9
Nijmegen
You'll arrive in Nijmegen, which is the oldest town in the Netherlands with roots back to Roman times when it was called Noviomagus. Take a walking tour through the city center to see the historic architecture and learn about the International Four Days Marches. If you're up for it, there's also a guided bike ride along the Waal river.

Landmarks Nijmegen Old Town - Day 10
Keukenhof Gardens
Visit Keukenhof Gardens, which sits in the middle of Holland's tulip farming region. The gardens have millions of different bulbs and flowers arranged across the grounds, with rows of colors extending everywhere. It's one of those places that really shows off what Holland is known for.

Departure from Amsterdam
After breakfast, you'll leave the Star-Ship and transfer to the airport for your onward flight. You're heading home with memories of windmills, canal rides, and fields of flowers from your time in the Netherlands and Belgium.
