- Day 1
Quito
You'll arrive in Quito and get picked up from the airport for a transfer to your hotel. The rest of your evening is free to walk around the city and get a feel for things before heading to the Galapagos tomorrow.

Quito to Baltra to Santa Cruz
After breakfast, you'll catch a flight to Baltra and take the ferry over to Santa Cruz. Once there, join a guided tour through the Highlands to see giant tortoise shelters, lava tunnels, and Darwin's finches. Then you'll head to your hotel in Puerto Ayora to settle in.

Santa Cruz
This is a half-day tour exploring Puerto Ayora's bay starting with a visit to La Loberia Island to see sea lions. You'll snorkel with sea turtles, colorful fish, and more sea lions before hiking to Tunel del Amor with viewpoints where you might spot white tip reef sharks. Later, head to Punta Estrada to see marine iguanas. A full-day upgrade option is available if you want to extend things.

Santa Cruz
You'll spend the full day on a boat tour led by a former fisherman, his crew, and a naturalist guide exploring the waters around one of the remote Galapagos islands. Throughout the day there are multiple chances to swim and snorkel before you return to your hotel in Puerto Ayora.

Landmarks Santa Cruz Island - Day 5
Santa Cruz to Baltra to Lima
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Baltra airport and fly to Lima, routing through either Guayaquil or Quito. From Lima airport you'll get collected and taken to your hotel. Note that some travelers might end their tour in Guayaquil while others join the group in Lima.

Lima
On this half-day guided tour of Lima, you'll start in the Miraflores district then move to San Isidro to check out a pre-Inca huaca. From there, you'll visit the central Plaza de Armas with its colonial architecture, walk through the historic Convent of Santo Domingo, and browse the Larco Museum's archaeological collection. The evening is yours to try Lima's nightlife and grab a Pisco Sour.

After breakfast and checking out, you'll transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Cusco. The afternoon and evening are free for independent exploration, though you can join an optional guided tour visiting the San Pedro market, Koricancha Temple, Sacsayhuaman fortress, Q'enqo archaeological site, and the Cathedral at Plaza de Armas.

- Day 8
Cusco to Sacred Valley
Today you'll explore three Sacred Valley highlights: the Maras salt mines known for producing some of the world's finest salt, the archaeological site of Moray with its remarkable Inca terraces, and the Misminay indigenous community. Villagers will welcome you with traditional music and dancing, and you can participate in daily activities like planting, harvesting, and textile work before heading to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.

Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu to Cusco
You'll transfer to Ollantaytambo station and board the train to Aguas Calientes, watching spectacular scenery pass by. A short bus ride brings you to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After a guided tour of this ancient citadel that was hidden for centuries until 1911, you'll head back to Aguas Calientes for lunch and free time. Later you'll board the train to Ollantaytambo then travel by road back to Cusco.

Cusco
You have the day to relax at the hotel or wander around Cusco on your own. Alternatively, you can join an optional early morning tour to Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain. The tour departs Cusco heading toward Cusipata and Phulawasipata, then begins the hike to see the bright mineral colors in the rocks and soil, with plenty of time for photos before returning to Cusco.
