Itinerary
- Day 1
Lima
You'll arrive in Lima and get settled at your hotel, then head out in the afternoon for a guided tour of the Historic Center. The tour takes you through the Convent of Santo Domingo, stops at the Cathedral, and includes time at the Larco Museum where you can see artifacts from Peru's ancient cultures.

Lima
Today's completely open for optional activities depending on what interests you. You can head to the ancient city of Caral, or go south to Paracas and Huacachina for dune buggy rides. Another option takes you out to Lima's islands and the Callao fortress, or you might prefer flying over Paracas and the Nazca Lines to see the famous geoglyphs from above.

Lima to Cusco
You'll fly from Lima to Cusco in the morning, then transfer to your hotel to get acclimated. The afternoon includes a city tour starting at Plaza San Cristóbal for views across Cusco, then you'll walk through San Pedro Market, visit the Qorikancha Temple, and see the Cathedral before heading back to rest.

Cusco
The morning focuses on Inca ruins surrounding Cusco. You'll see the Sacsayhuamán citadel with its massive stone walls, check out Q'enqo and its ritual altar, stop at the Puca Pucará lookout, and visit Tambomachay monument. Your afternoon is free to either explore more of Cusco or use your admission passport to visit other archaeological sites.

Sacred Valley
You'll spend a full day in the Sacred Valley seeing several important sites. Start in Chinchero village where local women demonstrate traditional weaving, visit a textiles center, then head to Moray to see its incredible agricultural terraces. Afterward, you'll reach Ollantaytambo to explore temples and bath structures, then stay overnight in the Sacred Valley.

You'll take the train to Machu Picchu station, then travel the winding mountain road with views down into the Urubamba canyon. Once you arrive at the Lost City, you'll have time to walk through the terraces and ceremonial sites. Lunch happens at the site, and then you'll take the train back to Cusco by evening.

Another free day in Cusco with optional activities to pick from. You can hike Rainbow Mountain at high elevation for colored rock formations, or go kayaking on Huaypo Lake surrounded by mountain views with lunch included. Other cultural and adventure activities are also available if you prefer something different.

Cusco to Lima
You'll transfer to Cusco airport for your flight back to Lima to catch your international connection. The tour operator can help arrange flights, set up additional hotel nights if needed, or book any extra tours you want before leaving Peru.
