- Kelvin· September 21st, 2025We had a fantastic time visiting South Korea and Japan with TJ. The itinerary was well thought out and included several activities we might not have thought of booking ourselves. There was still enough free time allowed for us to do a bit of exploring on our own, but booking our trip this way removed all of the stress and the burden of planning the trip ourselves, especially with the language barrier. Most of the day trips / tours were handled by reputable third party local operators rather than TJ and handled professionally with English speaking guides. Some groups were a bit larger than we would have liked (e.g. best of Kyoto, which was on a large coach) but most were fantastic. There was some confusion caused by TJ sending an updated version of the itinerary which changed some start times and contact details and as a result, we missed one of the night tours at the very start of the trip. It was smooth sailing after that though, so I haven’t let that experience affect my rating. The hotels selected by TJ were acceptable and centrally located, but if I were to book the trip again, I’d opt to purchase an upgrade to accommodations. Overall a very positive experience that has me contemplating when we’ll be able to go back for more!Show more

- VVicky Asked on April 11th, 2025want to know first some things, the activities mentioned in the itineray included (guided) and paid entrance? They will have help to transport throw Japan, they dont want to to the transfers alone Tourist JourneyOperator•Written April 2025 Tourist JourneyOperator•Written April 2025- The tours are guided. Some entrance fees are not included but its minor things. The tours have centralized starting location points so they need to reach that point to start the tour.

- FFrank Asked on April 8th, 2025I fell down and fractured my shoulder and knee. Tourradar and Journey couldn't help me. - EElizabeth Asked on March 14th, 2025Which Hotel in Tokyo we are staying Tourist JourneyOperator•Written March 2025 Tourist JourneyOperator•Written March 2025- In which hotel you'll be staying depends on the hotel level you add during the booking process. Would you like to stay in standard, boutique or superior class hotels?

- VVanessa Asked on February 22nd, 2025we are interested in the tour "7 Day Highlights of Japan Tour Package" but we would like some option when we get there and when we come back to Australia Tourist JourneyOperator•Written February 2025 Tourist JourneyOperator•Written February 2025- Did I understand correct that you would like to add airport transportation to your booking? Are you planning to arrive to Haneda or Narita airport in Tokyo? Departing from Kansai Airport in Osaka?

- AAshley Asked on January 6th, 2025Are only twins and singles available for the tour? I have a family of 5. The 3 daughters are late teens to mid 20s. Tourist JourneyOperator•Written January 2025 Tourist JourneyOperator•Written January 2025- What hotel category would you like to include? 3, 4 or 5 stars hotels? Do you want to add pick up and drop off from and to the Airport?

- MMorgan Asked on December 2nd, 2024What are centralized meeting points - they are picking us up from the hotel, right? Tourist JourneyOperator•Written December 2024 Tourist JourneyOperator•Written December 2024- A pick-up from your hotel is only included in private packages, not for group packages. The pick-up points are strategically selected. By starting from a centralized location, you avoid the delays caused by picking up other travelers from different locations or dealing with traffic jams. This is great because is gives you more time to enjoy the attractions on the itinerary! The Skyliner shared transfer costs US20 A private Narita transfer costs US 300
- MMorgan Traveler•Written December 2024How would I get to the central location from the hotel
- MMorgan Traveler•Written December 2024Will need non-private transfer at arrival from Narita airport, then to Tokyo city centre from Kyoto on departure. Unless there's a transfer available from Kyoto to Narita on departure
Tourist JourneyOperator•Written December 2024 Tourist JourneyOperator•Written December 2024- The centralized location can be reached by public transportation or taxi if you want more comfort - anyway, they are very easy to reach. For departure, we could add a Shinkansen train to Tokyo Station - from there you could either go by public transportation to the Airport or by taxi. Is that okay?
- MMorgan Traveler•Written December 2024How much does the public transportation cost add to total cost? How much does taxi to central location add to cost? How much is the train to Tokyo stn then taxi to Narita airport cost
Tourist JourneyOperator•Written December 2024 Tourist JourneyOperator•Written December 2024- Public Transportation: The cost will depend on your specific route and destinations. On average, a single trip on the Tokyo Metro or JR trains typically costs between ¥200 and ¥600, depending on the distance. Taxi to Central Location: A taxi from Tokyo stations to central areas like Shinjuku or Shibuya typically costs around ¥1,000 to ¥2,500, depending on traffic and distance. A taxi ride from the airport can be more expensive, averaging between ¥3,000 and ¥6,000. Train to Tokyo Station and Taxi to Narita Airport: Train: The Narita Express (N'EX) from Tokyo Station to Narita Airport costs approximately ¥3,000 (one way). Taxi: A taxi from Tokyo Station to Narita Airport is typically around ¥20,000 to ¥30,000, depending on traffic conditions.
