- LGLauren· April 2nd, 2023I’ve sent my complaints to the company already. Still waiting for a response. Don’t rely on this company for your travels. Expect to pay more out of pocket than anticipated - some activities weren’t available, we were told transportation was covered for the whole trip - wound up having to cover the last two days, not enough meal tickets were provided so we were on our own for that, etc. etc. so many things went wrong on this trip.Show moreTrip date: March 2023
- ASAbigail· December 3rd, 2019Transportation between Tokyo and Kyoto was awful. With everyone and their luggage, it took us about half an hour just to get on the first out of three trains because we practically had to get on them one at a time due to how packed it was. The schedule should be changed to accommodate the amount of people and how hard it is to get them all on a train during rush hour. Also, there was a special needs member of our group and it became increasingly frustrating to have to practically be her caretaker and watch over her and make sure we knew where she was and that she was with one of us at all times even during our FREE TIMES! If someone is unable to care for themselves, it should be required that they have a caretaker there for them as that is none of our jobs and we should t have to spend a good portion of our personal times on a trip we spent thousands on watching over someone who needs that kind of help.Show moreTrip date: November 2019

- Megan· April 15th, 2018Itinerary was great. I chose it as it avoided Hiroshima. Khaosan hostel was great accommodation. I recommend we use the Khaosan in Kyoto as well as Tokyo and Osaka. Last night dinner didn't cater well to vegetarians. Maybe next time send an email letting the group know there's a cos play night. Many of us have costumes we would have bought. I didn't mind the constant walking and use of the subway. That's how Japan works. However I hated following the guides like a sheep and not knowing what's going on. We weren't really updated on what's happening throughout the day. We were expected to just follow. Next time please say "okay guys we've gotten off at platform b and now we're into platform f" etc. Also PLEASE announce when we're getting off the subway instead of just walking off. Sometimes I felt like a burden when Yo was on his phone and I wanted advice or an update. Once I asked a cheap store to buy socks and was told he didn't know. It was an easy question to answer!!! My Australian friend was the one who recommended Don Quijote. Next time please have the guides have a list of convenient stores, restaurants and shops to recommend in each city.Show moreTrip date: April 2018
