Itinerary
- Day 1
Quito
You'll arrive in Quito and get settled at your hotel. Free airport transfers are arranged, so check your joining instructions for pickup details. A local guide will meet you to go over what you'll be doing over the next few days.
- Day 2
Quito to San Cristóbal
Head to Quito Airport early with a box breakfast, then fly to San Cristóbal in the Galápagos Islands. Your Galápagos guide meets you after landing for hotel check-in and a briefing. Later you'll explore the town and have lunch at a restaurant. After that, you'll head to La Loba, which sits among mangroves and volcanic rocks where you can snorkel, relax on the beach, or take a short walk along the shore.

- Day 3
San Cristóbal
Start with a boat tour to Isla Lobos, a small island near San Cristóbal. You'll see sea lions in their natural habitat, spot frigatebirds and blue-footed boobies, and snorkel in clear waters with marine turtles, rays, and occasionally white-tip reef sharks. You'll return to San Cristóbal for lunch, then head to Playa Ochoa, a white-sand beach with turquoise waters where you can swim, sunbathe, and relax.

Floreana Island - Isabela Island
A three-hour motorboat journey takes you to Floreana Island, one of the first inhabited islands in the Galápagos. During the crossing you may spot whales, dolphins, and sea birds. After lunch, explore the highlands where freshwater sources are found, check out lava caves once used by pirates, and see a large enclosure of Galápagos giant tortoises. In the afternoon, transfer to Isabela Island by speedboat, which takes about 2.5 to 3 hours.

- Day 5
Isabela
Morning spent sailing to Las Tintoreras islets and lava channels, one of the best spots to see white-tipped reef sharks, penguins, and sea lions with time for snorkelling. You may spot the endangered Chatham mockingbird. In the afternoon, visit the Wall of Tears, a historic site from when Isabela was a penal colony. Between 1946 and 1959, convicts were forced to build this wall from massive lava blocks, and the harsh conditions led to many deaths.

Isabela to Santa Cruz
Take a motorboat to Santa Cruz early this morning. Upon arrival, visit Tortuga Bay, a 1,000-metre stretch of white sand considered one of the best beaches in the Galápagos. The paved trail to the beach takes 45 minutes to an hour, and you'll see Galápagos finches and lizards along the way. Marine iguanas scatter among black rocks, and turtles can sometimes be spotted, though swimming isn't recommended due to strong currents. In the afternoon, you can visit the Charles Darwin Research Centre or check out the lively fish market.

- Day 7
Santa Cruz
Spend the day on a boat tour to an uninhabited island, either Bartolome, South Plaza, Santa Fe, or North Seymour depending on park restrictions. South Plaza has succulents and cacti habitat for land iguanas. North Seymour is flat with frigatebird nesting sites and blue-footed boobies. Bartolome features dramatic lava cones and one of the most famous views in the Galápagos. Snorkelling usually happens, often around Bartolome where the water is calm.

After several days exploring the Galápagos, you'll have breakfast and then transfer to Baltra Airport to fly back to Quito for a final night before heading home.
