- Laura· May 9th, 2025This trip was a trip of a lifetime! Nothing crazy fancy for accommodations and such, but an affordable way to see a place like no other! Well run and our guide was fantastic!Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your feedback with us. Laura! - Cari· September 30th, 2024Be prepared for some very early mornings and rough boat rides to start the trip, but once you get past those, the trip is incredible! I highly recommend the Los Túneles snorkeling on Isabela if you are looking to pick an optional activity.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewHi Cari, We are glad you had such a great time in the Galapagos. Yes we do specialize in early starts so we can pack in as much as possible. . We will pass your kind words on to our local operations team. We hope to see you on another G Adventure soonTrip date: September 2024
- JMJacklynn· April 19th, 2024This was a great tour, the galápagos is amazing! G-adventure has a well organized tour. There are some early morning days but they don't matter because you are in the Galápagos! The rooms are basic but have air conditioning which is good since it is very hot there. José was a fantastic guide and had so much knowledge about the islands. Definitely choose the add-on snorkeling trips they are worth it. I think the Galápagos needs to be on everyone's list.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThanks Jacklynn, This looks like such a great trip. We were glad to hear that you had such a great time. See you back on the road with us soon, we hops.Trip date: March 2024

Great route (key islands, amount of activities/freetime) and Lienke was a great guide (super helpful, organised, calm and made it memorable trip for us!). What our customers ask about this tour
The content in our FAQ section is subject to change.- R
Ronald
Asked on February 10th, 2025Why is the age written 18-39. That is, there is no way for a family with children aged 13 and 15, and adults aged 43, to get on this tour.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written February 2025
This tour is for first time independent travellers, it is not appropriate for under 18's and our travellers fed back that they wish to have a travel style that had like minded same aged people on so we created this. We have a similar tour open to all ages called Galapagos Island Hopping.

David
Asked on January 20th, 2025Is there are reason for that or is that a typo?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written January 2025
Not all of our tours have age limits, however, we have two particular tour styles '18-30 Somethings' and 'Roamies' where G Adventures is trying to cultivate a particular demographic. This is where the maximum age limit of 39 or 35 comes in.

Asked on January 16th, 2025Can you make an exception? I am healthy, in good shape, I ski, hike, dive and travel all over the world. Please let me know if I can still sign up for this.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written January 2025
At G Adventures we pride ourselves finding the right trip for the right person. For our '18-30 Somethings' tours, we are trying to cultivate a particular demographic. The majority of these trips are multi share or very basic accommodation such as camping or hostels. The itineraries are fast paced, have fewer included activities and instead focus more on socialising aspect of travel.

Asked on December 14th, 2024me gustaría saber si tienen este tour o parecido del 1 al 12 de enero, u otras opciones para realizar en privado, y si es en grupo cuantas personas serían
- G AdventuresOperator•Written December 2024
The departure dates of this tour are set and sadly we do not do private tours unless your have your own group of minimum 8 people. Normally the maximum size of the group for this tour is 16 people. This tour is part of our 18-to-Thirtysomethings travel style, which means the age restrictions will be 18 years minimum, 39 years old maximum at the time of travel.

Asked on November 17th, 2024My wife and I are planning a trip to the Galapagos in late December or early January, and we're interested in this tour. We're also hoping to include a scuba diving experience during our trip. Do you have any options for scuba diving that could be arranged in place of some of the planned activities?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2024
This tour does not include scuba diving optional extras, that being said, there will be an option to book this during your free time with the help of the CEO. If you have a specific time/location in mind, let us know once we have booked the tour we can reach out to the local office or leave a note on file for the CEO so that they are aware that you are interested in scuba diving

Rachel
Traveler•Written November 2024Am I correct in understanding that we may be able to book (or ask you to book) a scuba diving tour during our free time on the itinerary, such as on Day 4 at Isabela Island or Day 7 at San Cristobal Island?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2024
The best day to arrange a diving tour would be day 7 on San Cristobal Island. We do not currently work with a supplier for diving so we can not book this for you however our local team does recommend Planet Ocean - Diving San Cristobal.

Traveler•Written November 2024Let me ask one more question. I understand these things below are NOT included in the tour, but let me know if I'm wrong. - Hotel at Quito - Round-trip flights between Quito and Galapagos (Baltra?)
- G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2024
The Galápagos Adventure: Snorkelling & Sea Lions tour does include hotel nights in Quito and the flights from and back to Quito from the Islands. This tour is designed so you will book your international flights into Quito on day 1 and then spend the night there as part of the tour. On day two the group will fly together to Santa Cruz Island. At the end of the tour you will leave San Cristóbal Island on day 8 and fly back to Quito as a group and spend one night there. Then you can leave anytime on day 9 from Quito.

Traveler•Written November 2024Our flight will arrive at UIO at 2:45am, but does the hotel included in this tour accept early check-in around that time?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2024
Check in time is between 2 and 3pm on day one of the tour.
- R
Rachel
Traveler•Written November 2024Do you have any recommendation for us to kill time (ideally have some rest somewhere) before 8am? We also booked your Quito tour starting at 8am.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2024
If arriving so early you would be best to book an extra night at the hotel so you can have access to your room.

- G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2024

Asked on October 31st, 2024Do I need a waterproof covering for my luggage?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2024
Waterproof covering is advised for your day backpack only.

Asked on October 3rd, 2024Are shark attacks likely (in August) please? There is no mention of lunch or dinner for this tour so please explain what happens for these meals? How fit must a person be for the hike to Sierra Negra as my wife is not fast at all but may wish to do that hike to see the scenery please?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written October 2024
Shark attacks are not likely at all. We recommend that you allow approx USD185-240 per person for meals not included. Your tour guide will always recommend places to eat and will often book a table for the whole group to eat together for dinner should you wish to. We advise a medium level of fitness as this hike is not too strenuous and is accessible for most travellers.
