Your guide meets you at the hotel before heading to Arusha National Park for a full day focused on birds. You'll be looking for over 450 recorded species here, including white-starred robins, tropical boubous, and various trogons with experienced birders leading the way.

The park's elephant herds are substantial, and you'll search for endemic birds like ashy starlings and yellow-collared lovebirds while keeping an eye out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other ungulates.

Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you'll bird while driving through Tarangire, then head to Lake Manyara National Park for the rest of the day. The lake's tree-climbing lions are a draw, along with its varied bird populations. By evening, you'll drive to Karatu village and settle in at your lodge for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast comes first, then you drive to Ngorongoro Crater's main gate and descend about 600 meters onto the crater floor for a full day. You'll search for different bird species and try to locate the Big Five while exploring. Return to your lodge in the evening to relax.

Ngorongoro Highland Zone to Arusha
After breakfast, you head to the Endoro entry point for a roughly 3-hour walk through highland zones with both an armed ranger and birding guide. The trek gives you chances to find highland bird species in this zone. Lunch happens back at the lodge, then you drive back to Arusha for hotel drop-off.
