Itinerary
- Day 1
Lima
You'll get picked up from Lima airport and taken to your hotel in Miraflores. Once you're settled, the rest of the day is open for you to either kick back at the hotel or start walking around the neighborhood if you're feeling up for it.



- Day 2
Lima
This morning starts with a guided tour beginning at Plaza San Martin, then you'll head to Plaza Mayor and see the Government Palace and City Hall. After that, check out San Francisco Monastery to see the crypts underground, which are pretty interesting. From there, you'll go to the residential areas to visit Huaca Pucllana pyramid, walk through El Olivar park, and finish at El Parque del Amor with its views out to the Pacific. The afternoon is yours to wander around on your own, or if you're into food, there's an optional gourmet food tour you can join.

Lima to Cusco
You'll transfer to the airport and fly to Cusco. Give yourself the rest of the day to relax and let your body adjust to the altitude up here. The next morning, you'll explore Cusco's main spots including Plaza de Armas, the cathedral, Kenko Amphitheatre, and Sacsayhuaman Fortress. In the afternoon, just wander the cobblestone streets on foot, pop into shops, check out the markets, and grab coffee at one of the cafes.

- Day 5
Cusco to Sacred Valley
You'll travel to the Sacred Valley and spend time at Pisac Markets looking at colorful handicrafts, textiles, jewelry, and clothing. Then continue to Ollantaytambo fortress, which is a really impressive example of Incan architecture sitting at the valley entrance. Later in the day, you'll settle in at a converted 18th century monastery for the night, right in the heart of the Sacred Valley.

- Day 6
Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu to Cusco
Early on, you'll head to Ollantaytambo train station and board the scenic train heading down to Aguas Calientes. Once there, take a bus up the mountain to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of this famous Inca citadel. You'll walk around exploring the dry-stone walls and terraces, then return to Aguas Calientes for the evening. Before heading back, spend some time strolling around town, then catch the train back to Cusco.

- Day 7
Cusco
You've got a free day to explore Cusco however you want. If you'd rather do something structured, there are optional tours you can book: either a half-day visit to Chinchero's traditional market where you'll see locals in colorful dress, or a full-day trip out to Palcoyo Rainbow Mountains (this one includes a one-hour hike to see the vibrant colored mountain stripes).

Cusco to Puno to Lake Titicaca
After an early breakfast, board a tourist bus heading to Puno, which is about a 10-hour drive passing Wacarpay Lake and mountain scenery the whole way. You'll stop in Andahuaylillas to see the Church of San Pedro, then pass through llama herds and Ayaviri, where you'll view the Temple of Kalasaya. Grab lunch and continue on to Puno. The next day, take a boat out on Lake Titicaca to the floating islands of Uros made entirely from totora reeds. Then head to Taquile Island to meet Quechua-speaking locals, learn about their weaving and social structure, have a home-cooked lunch, and see some archaeological sites before returning to Puno.

- Day 10
Puno to Copacabana to La Paz
You'll get up early and take a tourist bus from Puno toward La Paz, but in the afternoon stop to explore Copacabana, a nice town on the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca. See the iconic white Basilica and spend time looking out at the lake at your own pace. Later in the afternoon, rejoin the bus for the final stretch to La Paz, arriving pretty late in the evening.

La Paz
You'll spend the day in La Paz, one of the highest cities in the world at 3,660m, with Mount Illimani visible in the background. Start at Killi Killi viewpoint to get panoramic city views, then go to Murillo Square and the governmental and religious buildings around it. Head down to Moon Valley to see the rocky landscape shaped by weathering over centuries. Take a cable car across the city for more views, visit the witches market where you'll find all sorts of Andean ritual objects, and see San Francisco church. The rest of the day is open for you to walk around the cobbled streets and shop on your own.

La Paz
Your tour wraps up with a transfer to the airport for your flight out. If you'd prefer, there's also the option to extend and keep exploring more of Bolivia instead of heading home.
